“What else did your power do?” Amick asks.
I knew that was coming.
Goose bumps break out across his arm, and I smile as I chase them away with my finger.
“My Chaos and Creation fixed his temple. My power of Boundaries…placed the emotional barrier.”
They grumble under their breaths about hoping I never do that again and I smirk.
“I also wrapped it around my fist and punched Mellcom. He went flying through the barrier at the Abandon.”
I can’t help but chuckle at the very heated look Riven gives me. Their hums of approval settle against my spine. Then I focus on Creed and swallow.
“I made an agreement with my power of Accord in Hell.”
“You what?” he asks, narrowing his gaze.
“Not in the way you think. I sort of…called Delun out on his double dipping in benefiting from you and your father. We basically came to the agreement that once you were free from the arrangement made on your behalf, his life would be changing. Not for the better.”
“That motherfucker,” he grunts, staring off to the side and shaking his head.
“You used your Consequence in the sexiest of ways at the Neutral,” Riven says, wiggling his brows.
“I did.” I chuckle. “I also used it with the Goddess of Illusion. I told her that her days of hiding in a reality she curated to avoid the bad that she aids will come to an end. Then, well, you all saw me use my Obliteration.”
For a moment, they gawk at me before stunned laughs belt from each of them. The melody warms me from the inside out.
Their souls stroke mine in the most invigorating kind of way. There’s no feeling in this realm like your very being experiencing your men’s pride for you. It’s damn breathtaking.
“You never cease to amaze me,Mysenta.”
I hum and settle into his lap as he lays a kiss to my forehead. The others draw closer to me, and I sigh from their touches.
Part of me wants to say something like it was nothing. I was determined to do what I had to do for them.
The other part of me refuses to allow myself to downplay what I did. I stood in front of Domain Gods, some of whom have directly and indirectly caused me pain, and I got what we needed from them. Hopefully, I even opened the eyes of some.
The whole journey came at an emotional cost I wasn’t prepared for, but that’s a price I’d pay for them a thousand times over. They’d pay it for me.
There isn’t anything in this realm I—we—wouldn’t do to protect each other.

I bite my bottom lip to hide my smirking as the guys tease one another around the table.
Creed and Amick can look as uninterested as they want, but the way their mouths continue to twitch tells a different story. Riven and Kyzen are feeding off one another, tossing food back and forth and cracking inappropriate, sexual jokes.
I won’t lie, I got a little nervous when they all went to their rooms this morning before breakfast. To my absolute relief, they were behind those doors maybe two minutes, just long enough to change. Since then, we’ve bounced from the couch to the dining room table, enjoying one another’s company.
I’m so happy they’re home.
After our bath time conversation, Amick lasted about ten minutes of lying in the bed in silence before he asked if I felt up to telling him every single thing that happened while they were gone.
We all laughed, but I did tell them. They stayed quiet and steady as I replayed every moment since they left. I even repeated the few things I had already told them so they—okay, Amick—got the full picture.
Their pride in me was potent, but so was their worry and confusion over Derivius’s story. They claim they’ve always known it took power to create them, but they’ve never wanted theintimatedetails.
