I smiled at that and snuggled closer to him as he read chapter four. Before he even got to the next chapter, my eyes had closed, and I had happily drifted off to sleep with my man.

Iglanced at her for the third time, and I was assured that she was all into the movie,Ruth & Boaz. I turned my attention back to my phone as I messaged my travel agent, Jerica, to finalize the details of an upcoming vacation.
I opened the group chat that I had created with our siblings and her best friend and mine.
“What are you working on?” she muttered, still engrossed in the movie.
“Just trying to negotiate this contract on these floors for a house I just purchased.”

“Flip,” I replied absently.

She returned her attention fully to the movie, and I resumed typing.
ME:I’ve finalized all the details with Jerica. She should be sending you all the link tomorrow if not tonight.
Several bubbles immediately raised, as they all started talking at once. Palmer’s message was the first one to send.
PALMER:Are the dates still the same?
EASY:All inclusive?
ELI:Are we talking Airbnb, hotel, resort, villa, or what?
ME:Dates still the same. Yes, it’s all inclusive, and we’re looking at a villa for all of us. They can’t handle us anywhere else. LOL!
CJ:Fine dining or casual?
