Grasping her hips, he sat her up before lying back. With little effort, he lifted her so she could straddle him. She reached down and wrapped her hand around his rock-hard cock, giving him a few slow strokes before guiding him as he lowered her onto him.

She wanted to scream in victory, but she was so breathless only a sigh escaped. Almost immediately she began to ride him, slow at first, but that didn't last long. His hands grasped her hips before slowly making their way to her full breasts. He teased her nipples with pinches and flicks just the way she loved. He knew her body better than she did, and she loved that.

"You are so beautiful."

Sloan's deep voice had her opening her eyes to stare into his black gaze.

Sloan had told her that many times, but there was something in the way he was looking at her now that had her slowing her movements. Using his strength, he sat up, making sure they stayed connected. Cupping her face, he stared so deeply into her eyes she forgot to breathe.

"Never doubt that I want you, Becky." Sloan's thumb brushed her cheek. "There isn't a second that goes by that I don't want you. Even if it's just to touch you. You are my world."

A tear escaped, running down her cheek and onto his thumb. Never had she felt so loved as she did at that moment. Leaning down, she kissed him, then pulled back, not wanting the look he was giving her to disappear.

"I love you," she whispered as they sat there, connected in both body and heart.

"This is new to me, babe," he admitted, opening himself up. "But I promise you I'll do everything I can to give you anything and everything you need...that you want."

Her heart swelled at his words. "You are what I need and want, Sloan," Becky replied as she began to move again, drawing a low growl from deep in his chest. God, she loved that sound. "I need you."

Sloan let her have her way until she began coming down harder on him. Carefully, but swiftly, he rolled her beneath him without breaking their connection. She wrapped her legs around him as he began to move. She could see the muscles in his neck tighten and the strain on his face as he fought to keep control.

"Let go, Sloan." She lifted her hips to meet his. "You will not hurt us."

He moved faster, his hand slipping between them, but she didn't need the extra attention. She was already so close. Becky knew he was still holding back, and she understood why. That was Sloan. Always protecting the people he loved.

She cried out as pleasure washed over her, just as he buried his face against her neck, holding her close while she rode out the waves in his arms.

"Please tell me you're okay." Sloan's voice was rough against her neck.

"I am now," she whispered, then chuckled as he tightened his arms around her.

Sloan loosened his hold on her, then lifted her slightly so he could see her face. His lips formed a half smile. Sloan rolled off her, then pulled her against him as she lay her head on his chest, her fingers lazily playing across his skin.

"Sloan?" she murmured as thoughts started running through her head.

"Hmmm?" His hand rubbed her hip in lazy circles.

"Are we going to be okay?" Becky bit her lip, hating to bring up something so heavy, especially now, but they had hardly been alone until tonight. She needed to know where his head was.

His hand stopped moving. When he didn't answer right away, she pushed off him and sat up. His gaze was intense as he looked at her.

"I will keep you safe, Becky. No one will touch you again." Sloan said with such intensity that surprised her. “I'm sorry I failed you.”

"You didn't fail me, Sloan." Becky frowned, shaking her head. "And that's not what I'm talking about."

Sloan started to get up, but Becky stopped him.

"I don't give a crap about any of that because I know you'll keep me safe. That's not what I meant." Becky forced him to turn toward her. Okay... she didn't exactly force him because if Sloan wanted out of that bed, there wasn't a damn thing she coulddo to stop him. "Arewegoing to be okay? You and me?" She pointed to him, then herself.

"What kind of question is that?" Sloan frowned, his eyes narrowing slightly.

Becky shrugged. "I know you don't want kids. Or at least that's the impression I got at Thanksgiving, and well... I'm going to get fat and cranky. Actually, I get really bitchy. I start eating weird stuff and?—"

Sloan grasped her chin, placing his thumb against her lips.

"I thought we had this conversation, and again, your impression is wrong. At that time, I never thought I could give you something you wanted, and that didn't sit well with me. You'll be beautiful, and I happen to like a full-figured woman. I even like you cranky sometimes. It's entertaining." His lips twitched. "And... what kind of weird stuff?"

"You'll definitely love me then in about six months." Becky snorted. "I'm going to be huge."
