I sucked in a breath. “Computer, on screen.”

A male with long black hair and two swords strapped to his back appeared on screen. “Commander Torian,” he put his fist to his sternum and bowed his head. “It has been too long.”

I rose from my chair and mirrored his movements. “Raiker, my old friend, fair meet.”

Another Rhonar shouldered the first, a set of three spearheads peaking from over his shoulder. “Perhaps, not so fair, Tor, if we find you in this mess.”

“Firas,” I snorted and sucked my tongue at his antics.

Raiker shoved the other male out of view. “I told you to knock it off, you draving fool.”

“Come on, I’m only playing.” Firas’ voice floated to us from off screen.

“Enough.” Raiker sighed. “Sorry, Commander. We’ve had our hands full up here.”

“Can’t wait to hear all about it.” I motioned toward my little captain who had a smile on her face. “But first, meet my Truxoria, Jane Kadaran.” I tugged her out of the chair and to my side. “And Raiker?”

“Yes, Commander?”

I kissed my mate soundly, my hearts beating only for her, before I turned my attention back to my Rhonar brather. “Get us the crex home.”
