"Answer the question, Ya'Mya."
"Yes," she finally admitted, her voice small. "I felt some type of way. Happy?"
"Very." I let go of her chin but stepped even closer, backing her up against the car. She had nowhere to go now, trapped between me and the metal.
"You was jealous."
"So what if I was?"
"So that means you really feeling a nigga huh. Not just 'cause I made you cum." I leaned down with my lips close to her ear.
“Oh my god Trigg,” she blushed.
"You was ready to fight over me. That's cute."
"It's not cute—"
"Yeah it is." I pulled back to look at her face. Her cheeks was flushed, her breathing faster.
“Fuck you,” she growled. And I chuckled. She wanted to be right so bad, but she knew she wasn’t in the right.
"Look man, I told you what it was already. So stop questioning shit and trust what I tell you." My hand slid to her waist. "You understand me?" She nodded, biting her lip.
"Nah, use your words."
"I understand," she breathed out.
"Good." I leaned in closer, my lips brushing against hers but not quite kissing her. "Now you gon' get in that car, go home, and call me soon as you get there. And when you call, you better have that same energy you had when you was storming up on me. I want you mad so I can fuck it out of you."
Her breath hitched and I saw her pupils dilate. "Trigg—"
"What I say?" My hand tightened on her waist. "You calling me or not?"
"Yeah," she whispered. "I'll call you."
"That's my girl." I finally kissed her, slow and deep, my tongue sliding against hers. I felt her melt against me, her good hand coming up to grip my hoodie. When I pulled back, her eyes was glazed over.
"Now go." I smacked her ass, harder than last time, and she gasped. "And don't make me wait too long for that call."
She stared at me for a second, still looking dazed, before she finally moved toward the passenger side of the car. Yah-Yah was already in the driver's seat, watching everything with wide eyes.
Ya'Mya got in and I leaned down to the window before she could close the door.
"And Ya'Mya?"
"Yeah?"
"Next time you see me out somewhere, come say hi instead of assuming shit. Aight?"
She nodded, a small smile playing at her lips despite herself.
"Aight."
"Good. Get to the crib, I’ll call you lata."
Yah-Yah pulled off and I watched until they turned out of the parking lot. Then I headed back to find Kynessa and Nova .
My phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw a text from Sosa.
