“Juan José plans on marrying my woman,” I fill all of them in on my outburst.
“We killed something of his, and now he wants something of ours,” Reaper mentions.
“I didn’t hear that,” Turner clips.
“We need to move now,” I say and turn to Stone.“We’re wasting too much time.If he gets her on that jet, we’ll never get her or my baby back.”
Prez nods.“Let’s go get her and mow down all these motherfuckers!”
Everyone starts to head to the three white vans, but I stay back with Stone.
“I can’t go back, please!”James pleads with Stone.“I’ll do anything.”
Stone looks down at the boy.I feel sorry for the kid getting adopted by a bunch of fucking lunatics and being raised here.My heart tightens realizing this is what Sutton was trying to flee from.
“This is Crusher and Melissa,” Stone introduces him to his family.“Stay with them until we can figure something out.”
“Go wait by my truck,” Crusher tells the kid, and James all but sprints over to the vehicle in question.Once he’s out of earshot, Crusher leans in, “This kid legit?”
“Think so, but want to keep an eye on him.Have Melissa stay close to the bus and you get a feel.”
Stone’s dad nods then places his large palm on his shoulder.“Be careful out there and watch your back.Cornered animals do crazy things.”
“You got it.”Stone nods in agreement.
Stone pats his dad on the back then moves over to the vans.I start to follow but a hand catches my elbow halting my progress.
“Watch your back, Havoc,” Crusher tells me, giving my arm a squeeze.“You bring that woman home in one piece, you hear me?We can’t have any more sad news right now.Get us this win and bring her back to us.”
“Plan on it,” I swear with everything in me.“The kid said she’s very pregnant.Don’t know the full condition, but I’ll make sure they make it outta there.”
“I’ll update Mel so she’ll have things ready to go,” Crushers says.“You kill those fuckers for touching our family.”
I know he’s not just talking about Sutton and the baby, but Rocky too.
“They’ll all pay for Rocky’s blood,” I vow.
Crusher nods then heads over to James by the truck, and I make my way over to the van.
Once I get in and slide the door shut, I take a cool calming breath, settling my mind to focus on the task at hand. The van rolls forward and starts picking up speed.Stone is talking and communicating orders to shift everyone to the northeast side of the property where Raegan saw the tent.
“Once we breach past the main house, our cover will be blown so stay alert.Watch for kids even though we were told they are kept on the west side of the farm,” we hear Stone through our ear pieces.“Stay with your group, and let’s eliminate these bastards.Keep Juan José alive if you can. We’ve got a lot of things to discuss before we terminate his bloodline completely.”
Our three vans head up the dirt and rock drive to the farm, not slowing down. There are a few women out putting sheets on a line. One of the vans stops and five brothers hop out.Our plan is to zip tie the women until the farm has been cleared.Stone and the other presidents will determine what to do with them once we’ve neutralized all the men and loyal followers here. There’s also a group of men from the Montana Chapter that are raiding the church as we speak. We want to be able to keep any of them from phoning any of the other locations or giving our surprise up to soon.
After the five are out and on the move, the van takes off again to catch up with us heading towards the back of the property.
“Almost there,” Stone calls out.It feels like an hour has gone by when I know it’s only been minutes.Stone is leaning over the front seat telling our driver to head more east through the field.
We’ve passed several outhouse-looking buildings.Once we’ve got this place locked down, the brothers are going to open each and every bunker on this property. Now that we know the Colombian Cartel is involved, my guess is that drugs are stored in these shelters.Good old Shepherd Walter the pastor of the local church is in bed with a notorious international drug lord. He’s been using the church to mule drugs for profit throughout the United States.Of course, we do the same, but at least we come by it honestly and people expect that of us.But to use God and the hearts of vulnerable folks to push an agenda for money and power is an entire other level of evil.
The van comes to a halt, and I’m brought out of my thoughts. We are in a secluded area hidden by a forest of trees.
“We walk it from here,” Stone says.“Everyone is almost there.”
The door opens and we slide out.We can see the tent about fifty yards away. There are trees everywhere giving us good coverage.
“Watch those men in black suits,” a female voice comes over the earpiece, and I realize that it’s Raegan.“They’re cartel men.”
