“I deleted the footage the moment I figured out where it was going.”Good boy.

“Noah really asked about me?”

“Yes. Do you want his phone number?” Leo’s face lights up like a Christmas tree. “I’ll take that as a yes.”Time to talk to my little criminal again.

Rachel

My phone buzzes, and when I look away from my book and at the screen, I’m not surprised at all to see Biker Boy’s contact name.

Biker Boy: Is Noah single?

I type the response without letting Noah know who’s texting, but he’s too busy reading to notice anyway. I think his werewolf-shifter romance just got interesting, judging by the way he’s biting his bottom lip instead of the piece of pizza in his hand. Even though we ate some at the bar, on our way home we picked one up for ourselves too. You can never have enough pizza.

Me: Yes, he is.

I wait for the answer, which doesn’t take long to arrive.

Biker Boy: Will he be interested in Leo?

I don’t need to ask Noah; I know he will be. From the moment this guy kicked my door down, he became the new star in Noah’s dirty fantasies. Instead of replying to his question, I send over Noah’s contact information.

Biker Boy: I’ll take this as a yes.

I don’t bother to reply; instead, I pick up my book again and start reading about the three serial killers who have been entertaining my brain for the night. That is, until a notification sound comes from Noah’s phone. He just got a message.

“Who is it?” I ask with a cheeky smile. I know exactly who it is.

“No one important.” Noah blushes as he types the response. Then, not even a minute later, another message comes through.Noah’s cheeks turn bright red as he reads the message and types again.

“That’s a lot of blushing for ‘no one important’ messaging you,” I tease.

“Fuck you, Rachel,” Noah spits back as he types something on his phone. “Did you give my contact info to your biker?”

“Maybe,” I say teasingly.

“Girl, are you for real?” Noah pretends to be upset, but I know my friend all too well. He is definitely flattered that Leo went to the trouble of finding his number.

“If I am going to get messages, you should get some too,” I joke.

“And can you explain how he knows that my book has a wolf on the cover?” Noah questions. What the hell?

“What?” I ask, hoping I heard wrong.

“He knows that my book has a wolf on the cover,” Noah repeats. The fucking bastard.

“What the hell?” I scream as I frantically look around for a camera. The fucking bastard must have hidden one in here. I take my phone, type a message, and hit send.

Me: Are you stalking me?

I see the three dots appear and then his reply.

Biker Boy: I might be.

I type another message.

Me: How?

Instead of another message, my phone shows an incoming call. I pick it up and bring it to my ear.
