“Taking your time.”

His lips brushed the side of my neck. I tipped my head to the side without meaning to. I felt him smile against my skin. “I have thought about this for too long to rush through things. I want to savor this. You. This body.”

His hand massaged one breast before tweaking my nipple between his thumb and forefinger. His mouth returned to mine in a slow, languid kiss. My fingers tightened in his hair as his hand moved to my other breast. He took his time. I was already having to work considerably hard at the quiet part.

I pushed him back down to the floor and followed him, my mouth finding his jaw, his throat, the warm skin below his ear. He exhaled slowly through his nose, his hands sliding up my thighs. I slid my hands up his chest, pushing the shirt up until I was pulling it over his head.

I ran my palms flat across his chest, his stomach, feeling the muscles shift underneath. His abs were fucking amazing. “Eight pack,” I murmured.

“What?”

I bent and pressed my mouth to his ribs, just below his heart. “This is not a six-pack,” I said. “Eight abs. I’m going to lick every single one of them.”

His breath caught. I moved lower, dragging my lips across his stomach. His fingers threaded through my hair. Not pulling. Just resting there.

“Summer.” My name sounded like a curse and I loved it.

I looked up at him from where I was. “Savoring, remember?”

He groaned. “Me savoring you.”

“Stop rushing me.”

He dropped his head back against the floor. I felt the breath leave him all at once. I smiled against his skin and kept going.

His hand in my hair flexed and released. I worked at his belt slowly, watching his face while I did. The effort it was costing him to lie still was written clearly across every line of his expression. I had the man in the palm of my hand—literally.

CHAPTER 32

COLT

She had me right where she wanted me and she knew it. I could feel her smiling against my stomach, taking her goddamn time with the belt like she had all night. My hand in her hair kept flexing without my permission. I held on for dear life knowing she was going to take me right to heaven’s gates.

She got the belt open. Then the button. Then the zipper crept down. I felt every single tooth of it. I was staring at the ceiling trying to remember how to breathe.

“Woman, you’re killing me.”

That was how I was going to see the pearly gates. I was going to be knocking on heaven’s door. I lifted my head and watched her. She looked up at me, her hair spilling across my stomach, her lips curved. She didn’t say anything. Just held eye contact and pulled the denim down my hips.

Christ.

I lifted my hips to help her as she worked my jeans down and then they were gone. Her mouth was back on my stomach, lower now. My fingers curled into fists. Her lips brushed the waistband of my boxers.

A choked sound escaped my throat. She pressed one open-mouthed kiss just below the elastic. Then another. Her handshooked into the waistband and she looked up at me again from under her lashes. There was something in that look that nearly had me exploding in my underwear like a fucking teenager.

She pulled the boxers down and off and then her hand wrapped around me and my head dropped back against the floor hard enough to have me seeing stars. Or maybe it was her hand on my cock that was flashing the constellations through my mind.

“Okay,” I said to nobody. “Okay. Breathe.”

She took her time. Her hand moved in a slow, deliberate stroke from base to tip. My legs jerked. I felt her breath against me before her mouth followed. When her lips closed around me, my attempts to stay quiet were forgotten.

My fingers went back into her hair. She worked me slow and thorough and completely without mercy. Her tongue slid around the head and made the tendons in my thighs flex so hard I knew I’d be sore in the morning. My free hand gripped the floor beside me. Every time I made a noise I muffled it against my palm. The effort of keeping quiet was genuinely the hardest thing I had ever done in my life.

“You have to stop.”

She pulled back slowly. Looked up at me. Her lips were swollen and her eyes were dark and she looked unbearably pleased with herself.

“Stop rushing me,” she said.
