Becca had taken a seat at the bar and ordered her own drink, and Ellie watched as she took a nervous sip, her eyes scanning the room until she saw where Ellie was sat and flashed a smile her way. The silver dress caught the light every time she moved, her fabulous legs crossed on the barstool, and she looked exactly like a woman waiting for a date. Several people in the bar had already noticed her. A man at a nearby table had done such an obvious double-take as she walked past that his companion had elbowed him. That’s my wife, Ellie thought, immediately followed by,but maybe not for the next few hours.

Cass arrived a few minutes later, and Ellie saw her before Becca did. Black jeans, a fitted white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to show her forearms, boots. She hadn’t tried to femme up for the occasion in the slightest and Ellie respected that… this was Cass as herself, and the contrast with Becca was almost absurdly perfect. Dark and light, hard and soft, the two of them looking like opposite poles of something that had the potential to generate a very serious amount of electricity.

When Becca looked up and saw Cass, her reaction confirmed everything Ellie had teased her about and then some. Her eyes went wide. Her breath caught visibly, her chest rising under the silver dress. And she smiled then did the hair push without even realising it.

Twice.

Twice.Ellie nearly laughed into her cocktail. Her wife had it so bad it was adorable, except adorable wasn’t quite the word for the way Becca was looking at Cass right now. Hungry was closer. Starving, maybe. Famished.

Cass smiled, slow and confident in a way that said that she knew exactly the effect she was having on Becca and was in no rush to stop having it. She sat down on the stool next to her. They were close immediately, closer than two people who’d only met once before would normally sit, the chemistry between them closing the usual social distance to almost nothing.

From her table, Ellie sipped her drink and watched, and felt the familiar engine start to turn over. It was a different fuel this time… she wasn’t watching Becca with a soft, feminine woman who could plausibly be her girlfriend. She was watching Becca with someone who looked like they’d walked out of every fantasy Becca had never quite admitted to having. Different, but still potent, and Ellie settled in to watch, curious to see where it went.

The two women talked. Ellie couldn’t hear what they were saying over the jazz and the background hum of conversation, but she could read the body language like they had subtitles. Becca was leaning in, laughing, tactile from the start… her touch lingering far longer than necessary, her fingers tracing along the tattoo on Cass’s wrist while she appeared to ask Cass about it in a way that was so blatantly an excuse to touch her that Ellie wanted to applaud. Becca’s flirting was normally playful, but tonight something about Cass’s presence had turned her shameless, and Ellie found herself grinning to herself watching it unfold.

Within ten minutes the energy shifted. Ellie saw it happen, there was a gear change, subtle but unmistakable if you were watching for it, which of course Ellie very much was. Cass leaned in close, her mouth near Becca’s ear, and said something that made Becca’s cheeks flush a deep, visible pink even in the low light of the bar.

While she spoke, Cass’s hand moved to Becca’s thigh. Not her outer thigh. Her inner thigh, high enough and confident enough that Ellie felt her own stomach lurch with jealousy in response. Cass’s fingers rested there with a possessive certainty that said this was not a suggestion, it was a statement of intent, and Becca didn’t move the hand away. She sat very still, lips slightly parted, flush deepening, listening to whatever Cass was murmuring against her ear.

Ellie gripped her glass and felt both the weight of both necklaces against her collarbone. Watching Cass’s hand on Becca’s inner thigh while Becca sat there in that silver dress, flushed and breathless and completely captivated, it was doing things to Ellie. Serious things. She shifted in her chair and tried to look like a woman casually enjoying a drink rather than a woman whose entire nervous system was currently short-circuiting.

Cass said something more, a question by the look of it, then leaned back just enough to look her in the eye, nodding when Becca nodded, Becca’s nod excited yet nervous, Cass’s nod firm and encouraging. Cass pulled back and smiled at her, finishing the last of her drink in one long swallow. It was the sort of move that looked rehearsed but probably wasn’t, but either way Ellie didn’t care because it was devastatingly effective.

They stood. Cass took Becca’s hand and led her away from the bar towards the lobby. Becca glanced back once, findingEllie immediately, and the look on her face was incandescent: arousal, excitement, a flicker ofcan you believe this is actually happeningbut with the reassurance ofI’m yours, even right now, especially right now.

Ellie left a twenty on the table and followed, her heart hammering.

Chapter 13

Ellie caught up with them at the elevator. Cass gave her a little nod when she saw her then pressed the button and the three of them stood in a row, waiting, the lobby quiet around them. Becca was practically bouncing in excitement, her energy barely contained beneath the silver dress which was doing heroic work pretending to be sophisticated evening wear rather than the wrapping paper on a woman who was about thirty seconds from combusting. She kept looking at Cass and then looking away, like she couldn’t quite believe what was happening.

What on earth must Cass have just whispered to her?Ellie wondered, and resolved to ask when the time was right. Not now though, definitely not now.

Cass, for her part, was trying to maintain her composure, and it was the cracks in the cool that Ellie liked best. The confidence was still there, theI’ve done this beforedemeanour, but Ellie could see the tells: the slight tightness in Cass’s jaw, the wayshe was squeezing Becca’s hand held in hers, the way her eyes kept falling to where the silver dress ended at Becca’s thighs. She wanted Becca badly. Is this her main thing? Super-femme women, women that belong to someone else?Ellie loved how the calm she was trying to exude was a performance, and not a great one at that. The transparency of it was both endearing and extremely hot.

The elevator arrived. The doors closed and the small space concentrated everything… perfume, tension, the sound of three women breathing faster than they should. Becca caught Ellie’s eye in the mirror and grinned, a grin so full of wild, disbelieving joy that Ellie couldn’t help but grin back. It was the grin of two women who had a secret that was about to get very, very interesting. Cass noticed and cracked a smile, breaking through the cool facade, and for a second the three of them were just three people sharing in the absurdity and the thrill of what was about to happen.

The doors opened. They walked down the corridor, Cass and Becca still hand in hand, Ellie a step behind, and when they reached the room Ellie unlocked the door and held it open.A doorman for my own wife’s seduction, she thought, and nearly laughed out loud.

Cass walked in first. Becca followed, the silver dress shimmering as she passed, a little excited smile flashed at Ellie and the briefest brush of their hands against each other.Yes, keep going. I trust you. Ellie closed the door behind them and walked over to the armchair near the window, settling in, folding her legs under her, letting her hands rest on the armrests.

Cass turned to Becca. The city glowed behind her through the window, and Cass’s expression changed from the smile of theelevator to something darker and more intense. She saw Becca gaze back at her, still smiling but watching, waiting now. It was crystal clear who was taking the lead, and Becca it was not.

“Come here,” Cass said.

Two words. That was all it took. The command in her tone made Becca’s whole body go still for a second before she moved, crossing the room to go to Cass, her heels making her legs look amazing. This is it, this is Becca’s fantasy walking and talking and telling her what to do, and my wife is about to find out what happens when you get exactly what you’ve always wanted.

And then it was electric.

Cass pulled Becca towards her and kissed her with a dominance that she’d never seen before… her hand on the back of Becca’s neck, controlling the angle, the depth, everything. Becca melted into it, becoming soft and pliant in a way Ellie had never seen in all their years together, surrendering control so completely that Ellie felt her eyebrows rise in surprise. This was a side of Becca that she hadn’t known existed, a submissiveness, a willingness to be directed and positioned and taken that had never surfaced in their own bed because Ellie was the top and Becca responded to her differently. Ellie had always led but then Becca had always met her, equals in everything, but this wasn’t that. This was Becca wanting to be told.

With Cass, Becca was responding to something primal, Ellie could tell. The strength, the dominance, the physical authority of a woman who could, and clearly intended to, do whatever she wanted with Becca’s body. And Becca was letting her. Morethan letting her, she was welcoming it, leaning into it, practically melting into a puddle in a beautiful silver dress.

Cass broke the kiss, and Ellie heard her say one word. “Sit.”

Becca looked her deep in the eye then sat down on the edge of the bed. Cass followed, standing in front of her between her legs, looking down at her, then leaned forward, pushing Becca back, until Becca was resting back on her elbows and Cass was leaning down over her, eyes still locked. Ellie stirred, the jealousy-arousal loop on overdrive… they’d only just started and she’d be willing to bet that Becca was barely aware of her presence already.

Cass leaned in, her lips brushing Becca’s, Becca chasing the kiss but Cass had gone past her, whispering in Becca’s ear. Becca blushed, whispered something back, then nodded. Cass nodded too, then her hand went to Becca’s thigh and didn’t stop halfway up this time, pushing slowly towards her centre, closer, closer, and then Ellie felt as much as heard Becca’s gasp when she touched her.
