Sarah turned and looked at her. “I did. The others, it’s done. Rebecca wanted to continue.”

Amy nodded slowly. “Good.” She hesitated then smiled weakly. “I’m sorry… I was sat there thinking you’d not done it.”

“It’s ok.” Sarah paused. “You look good. The tan suits you.”

“So do you. You’ve got a little tan yourself.” There was a long moment where they just looked at each other. “I should get back to Luisa…” Amy turned to go.

“Wait.” Amy stopped and Sarah desperately tried to work out what her brain had planned to followwait. “I’ve missed you.”

“I’ve missed you too. We’ll talk Wednesday? Luisa leaves in the morning.”

Sarah nodded, then decided to take a risk. “My place?”

She could see Amy think through the angles… Sarah’s place meant more than just talking. This was the test, Sarah knew, whether Amy wanted to pick this up again between them or whether Wednesday was her way of sayingsorry, I’m with Luisa now.

“Let’s meet somewhere neutral. Why did you say your place?”

“You know why.”

“Tell me.” Amy’s expression impossible to read.

Sarah took a deep breath. Honesty sometimes really was the best policy. “I want to be yours. However you want. Whatever you want. I want to…”

At that moment the door opened and a woman walked in, headed for one of the cubicles. Sarah glanced at the woman then back at Amy, and saw that Amy’s eyes were narrowed, just a hint of colour in her cheeks, a smile playing around the edges of her mouth as she looked back at Sarah.

Amy took Sarah’s hand in hers and gave a gentle squeeze. “I should get back.”

Amy left, and Sarah gave herself a couple of minutes to steady her racing heart before returning to Rebecca… after that conversation, Wednesday couldn’t come soon enough.

“Take everything off.”

The instant Sarah’s front door was closed behind them, her tone shifted to be quieter, firmer, laced with the authority that she knew that Rebecca loved and responded to immediately.

Rebecca stepped out of her heels, leaving them neatly by the door. She knew the rules, had done for several years now, and she’d told Sarah repeatedly that this was the dynamic she needed… to have the structure of her professional life, where she was razor sharp and in control, stripped away entirely the moment she walked through Sarah’s door.

Sarah simply turned her back on Rebecca and walked through to her kitchen, knowing that Rebecca would obey. She heard the rustle of clothing being removed behind her and, by the time that Sarah had opened a bottle of wine and poured two glasses, Rebecca was kneeling on the living room rug naked, her hands resting on her thighs, watching, waiting.

Sarah looked down at her. Rebecca was beautiful like this… composed, willing, entirely given over to whatever Sarah wanted. On another night Sarah might have been tempted to draw it out, maybe make Rebecca wait while Sarah drank herwine and scrolled through her phone, the power play of having this accomplished woman on her knees. It was a game they both enjoyed, and she knew now that Rebecca genuinely wanted it. No quid pro quo required.

Tonight, though, Sarah wasn’t in the mood for games. Tonight, she needed to forget the image that kept coming into her head, of Amy and Luisa writhing together, sweaty, naked. She needed to stay distracted from the jealousy that she knew would come.

She put one of the wine glasses on the floor next to Rebecca. “Drink.”

Rebecca picked up the glass and took a sip, looking up at Sarah over the rim, her eyes bright with anticipation. There was an excitement to Rebecca tonight, feeding off Sarah’s mood, that was different, more intense, and from the flush spreading across Rebecca’s chest Sarah could tell that she was responding to it.

Sarah reached down and tilted Rebecca’s chin up with one finger. “When you’ve finished your wine, you’re going to go to the bedroom. You’re going to lie face down on the bed with your hands above your head, and you’re going to wait for me. You don’t move until I tell you to. Understood?”

“Yes.” Rebecca’s voice had dropped to barely a whisper.

“Good girl.” Sarah let go of her chin and picked up her own glass, leaning back against the kitchen counter, watching Rebecca drink.Good girl. How many times had Sarah said those words? And now, with Amy, there was the exquisite irony that she craved being called that herself. She didn’t just need Amy on Wednesday night, she needed Amy to dominate her completely, to give her the same thing that Sarah gave Rebecca, to be hers todo with as she pleased. It had been a month now… she needed it so badly. Yet Amy, well, she was proving to be mysterious. Sarah didn't have a clue what she wanted from Wednesday, none at all.

Rebecca finished her wine, put the glass down carefully, and stood. Sarah watched her walk to the bedroom, naked, obedient, and felt the familiar thrill of control settle over her. This, at least, she understood, even if everything else in her life was confusing. This, she was good at.

She gave Rebecca two minutes, enough time to position herself and enough time for the anticipation to build. Then she put down her own glass, undid the top two buttons of her shirt, and walked through to the bedroom.

Rebecca was exactly where she’d been told to be: face down, arms stretched above her, the line of her back and the curve of her rear a picture of submission. She didn’t turn her head when Sarah entered, didn’t move at all, just lay there breathing steadily, waiting.
