Milo

Ray tells me I have a tendency to bite off more than I can chew. He’s my best friend, but he’s full of shit. Or at least that’s what I thought until this very moment…

Whose bright idea was it to poke the giant bear? Oh, yeah…that’d be me.

When Iasked Rowan to fuck me until I couldn’t do anything but scream his name, I didn’t think he’d take itliterally.

It’s a saying, right? People say stuff like that all the time, I’m sure. I wouldn’t know since my celebrity status means it’s been me and my hand for far too long.

I blame that for my current predicament. I’m all boneless limbs and a puddle of pleasure under Rowan. We’d moved to my bed after Rowan thoroughly fucked my brains out on the couch, and now we’re on condom number…who the hell am I kidding?

I can barely recall my own name, never mind the number of condoms we’ve gone through. Rowan makes good of manifesting my words, and his name is the only intelligible thing that’s come out of my mouth all night.

Or is it day now?

Weak light streams through the corners of my blinds, but let’s face it, I’m too far gone to really take anything in besides Rowan’s hot body on top of me and his sexy, hoarse voice whispering my name like a prayer.

The extent of our conversation over the last few hours has gone like this:

Rowan.

Milo.

Rowan.

Milo.

And on and on, like they’re the only two words that exist in this world.

Rowan thrusts into me, hitting that electrifying spot again, elicitinganotherorgasm out of me. He murmurs myname one last time, stills through his own pleasure, then falls on top of me like a cozy weighted blanket.

I’m warm. Safe. Protected in his arms and far from alone.

It’s the last thought I have before I lose consciousness.

“What the hell happened in here? Milo! Are you okay? Milo!”

Loud, thundering footsteps have my head pounding. I’m comfortable and covered in something warm. I must have purchased a new blanket that smells so delectable that I just want to snuggle deeper into the scent.

My cozy blanket moves—which, weird, but okay. Maybe this new blanket has a vibrating feature or something? It wouldn’t be the first time I’d purchased something strange off the internet.

What’s impossible is my new blanket rumbling out a “Fuck.”

“Dear lord! This is exactly how I imagine the Olympic Village would smell. I’m sure the entire place would be littered with condoms like it is here if they didn’t have a condom shortage.”

My eyes pop open at the sound of my best friend, but I’m quickly met with darkness as the blanket is thrown over me. Not the nice, cozy blanket I’ve been dreaming about and now realize was Rowan, but my actual one. The one I once thought felt like cuddling with the clouds, but now know is a poor imitation of sleeping in the arms of Rowan.

“Is everything okay?” Rowan asks on full alert.

“Aside from it looking like someone ransacked the place and the scent of sex filling—holy hell!” I hear when the bed shifts. “Don’t tell me you stuck that weapon inside my best friend. Is he even alive under there?”

Anger and possessiveness overcome me, and I throw the blanket off to stand and throw a pillow at Ray.

“Stop staring at him!” The jealous tone comes out before I can even restrain it. I don’t want Ray, or anyone else for that matter, to see Rowan’s glorious naked body, so I jump in front of Rowan to try to block Ray’s view.

“Fuck, Milo,” Rowan curses and hooks his arms around my waist to use his hand to cover my private parts, as if he’s feeling the same possessiveness over my body that I am his.
