“Go to hell. You’re the one who sounds like a bear hibernating in the mountains. The whole bed shakes when you breathe. I used to wake up and look over to make sure I wasn’t sleeping next to Rasputia at night. You need a fucking CPAP machine or some shit.”

“Fuck you, Ess-I mean East. Anyway, are you gonna come get her or what? I’m about to eat, take a shower, and go to bed soon.”

My baby mama was fine as fuck. There were times when I couldn’t help but admire her beauty because it was so effortless. She was sitting on the bed with her hair in a bun and no makeup on, wearing a sports bra, and still managed to look like a model.

“Umm, I can come over there and sleep on the couch with her. My room isn’t really—”

“You left me in the room so you could be on the phone? You didn’t even ask if I wanted to take a shower with you.” Amika interrupted our conversation, pissing me off to the max.

“Aye, are you cool?”

“W-what do you mean?” she stuttered.

“Don’t you see me talking to my family? Why the fuck would you come barging in here when you know I’m on the phone?”

“Umm, I’m gonna let you handle your business. Noodle, your daddy is entertaining guests, so you’ll have to sleep with me tonight,” Lyric spat. I almost cussed her ass out, but she had every right to react the way she did because Amika was doing the most.

“Put my baby on the phone,” I demanded.

Lyric rolled her eyes, then handed the phone back to Noodle.

“Daddy’s gonna take a shower, get dressed, and then I’m gonna spend the night with you. Your momma’s gonna give you a bath, and I’ll bring some snacks so we can watch a movie until we fall asleep, okay?”

“Okay, Daddy. I love you.”

“I love you more, princess.”

“Mommy, Daddy said you gotta give me a bath and braid my hair too,” Noodle declared. I smirked because she slid that last part in on her own.

“Your daddy did not say all of that, little girl. Go over there and pick out some pajamas.”

Noodle blew me a kiss, then took off.

“I don’t recall inviting you to my room, but I’m gonna let it slide because our child wants to see you. Make sure you scrub those balls extra good because I don’t want you bringing any fleas or bedbugs with you from whatever groupie bitch you just fucked.” Lyric scoffed then hung up the phone in my face.

I placed my phone on the counter before I focused my attention on Amika. She had a guilty expression on her face.

“I’m sorry. I wasn’t trying to be messy or anything.”

“I’ll let my people know you need a ride back home. Once you get dressed, all you have to do is head outside, and they’ll be out there waiting for you,” I responded.

“Wait. Are you kicking me out? I thought we were gonna hang out some more.”

“Naw, I’m cool. My dick still feels some type of way after you tried to gnaw my meat off. All I want to do is shower, chill with my lil’ girl, and get some sleep. I already sent you the tickets to tomorrow’s show. If you have any issues, let me know.”

“Why does this feel like a breakup or something?”

“Well, it’s not that because we aren’t together and never will be. I just don’t have any use for your presence anymore. Please don’t be one of those women who don’t know how to read the room. You came here to fuck. We did that, I wasn’t impressed, and now it’s time for you to go so I can spend time with my family.”

“Wow, I knew you were blunt, but I didn’t realize you were a complete dickhead.” She scoffed.

“You can call me whatever you want, but I tried to let you down easy. I could have told you that your skin reminded me of a young crocodile and that your pussy was drier than the bottom of a rhinoceros’s feet, but I didn’t. If we’re being honest, I should sue you for chewing on my dick with those number two, porcelain, donkey teeth in your mouth, but I was trying to be a nice guy. Now, can you please get your things and head out? My water is about to turn cold fucking with your ass.”

Instead of waiting for her to respond, I dropped my shorts and stepped into the shower. Bitches didn’t appreciate when you tried to spare their feelings, and now she wanted to make me out to be the bad guy when I tried to drop the right hints.

I took my time washing up, thankful the water was still hot. My body was exhausted from the workout I did when I woke up, mixed with all of the running around we were doing. Keynauri’s schedule was hectic and had only gotten worse once the public learned his true identity. The fans went crazy, and as a result, all of his shows were sold out. We booked studios in different states just so he could make music in between all of the shows, interviews, and magazine shoots.

Life was crazy for all of us, but I wouldn’t complain. I was touching more money than I knew what to do with, and Keynauri had basically doubled what I was already making. He said he wanted to show his appreciation for the way we held him down, but that was a given. LJ and Keyz were my brothers, and I would always look out for them the same way I knew they would look out for me.
