“We can fix that,” Ell said.

Marcus walked toward the stairs ahead of Ell, who looked at us over his shoulder, his expression mirroring our own happiness.Once the two of them were out of sight, Dom turned to me.

“I wanted to bite him so badly, you know? He’s just… Linc, I’m in love.”

My heart beat just a little faster.I was too, but this was soon, very soon, especially for Marcus.

“He needs time.”I caught Dom’s fingers with mine.“But this was good.He liked it.”

Dom looked up at the ceiling.“I wouldn’t have thought… I thought maybe he would be okay with us one-on-one.He’s just the bravest little thing though, right?”

I nodded. Not everyone who grew up human and with human expectations would’ve been willing to be this open.

“Did he like it?In town, I mean.”

Dom turned on his side, facing me.“Apart from the douche of an ex, I guess so.”

“That’s good.”

He grinned.“He liked being with us.”

Upstairs, the water turned on.Ell wasn’t going to let Marcus shower alone and risk him getting his cut wet, so I ended up imagining the two of them under the stream of hot water.

“He did.We should get up.”

Dom yawned and stretched.“Do you think we have to clean here?I really love how everything smells of him now.”

“Yeah, I know.I think we have to, though. What if his wound gets infected?”

“Good point.”

We were both silent for a minute, likely imagining all the things that could happen to our mate if he got hurt again, or if the injury and the cold he was still dealing with didn’t heal as they should. They weren’t good thoughts, but they were still easier to deal with than the possibility of him rejecting us.

I rubbed my face and reluctantly moved into an upright position.Dom and I needed a shower as much as the other two, but that could wait until after our mate was fed and happy.

Iwas wearing oversized flannel again, and fine, it wasn’t too bad.It was actually really soft, and I decided I liked that.

Dom and Linc had prepared a grandiose leftover dinner.Basically, they’d warmed up some of the minestrone as well as some bread rolls that looked suspiciously homemade. There were olives, roasted bell peppers, sliced veggies, colorful hummus varieties, and a lot of other stuff.

My interest, first and foremost, was in the cinnamon bun they’d warmed up in the oven, the big cookie that had its own plate next to the cinnamon bun, and the wonderfully large cup of oolong, which I was sniffing appreciatively while being eyed by three werewolves, who were displaying more table manners than I was capable of in my state of mild starvation.

I sipped some of the oolong—just a little because it was still hot.But it was so delicious that I groaned in pleasure.

“Fuck, Little Red, you know how to entertain.”

Okay, my reaction to the oolong had been involuntary, but I could see the lot of them were still mildly horny.I decided to play innocent regardless.

“Huh?What do you mean?”

Linc put a hand on my shoulder.“Ignore Dom.I’m glad you’re feeling better.”

I put the tea aside and went for the cinnamon bun finally.“Rest was good, I guess.”

Ell had checked my temperature earlier, and apparently my fever was gone.I could’ve told him that.I was currently feeling like my best self, more energized than I’d been in years, ready to start this odd vacation with…three werewolves.

I was going to have to give the amazing sex some credit for the energy boost, never mind that sex didn’t normally do that for me.To be fair though, the three of them were really good at it.
