“Adrian?” I ask. “Grayson called you, didn’t he?”

“No, Adam texted Alania,” he says, stepping to the side.

“Hey!” Alania says sweetly. “I hear Grayson is being a dick?”

“I should have known better than to think he’d want me,” I say. “Sorry you came out for this. I’m fine.”

“Mmm, no, you aren’t. But that’s okay,” Alania says.

“Who is Hope?” I ask.

“She’s just someone who dom hops,” she says. “Whoever pays her the most attention. She’s just a bit obsessed with Grayson.”

“Heads up,” Adrian says, nodding behind me. I turn, and Adam hugs me.

“Hey, Adam,” Alania says.

“Hey,” Adam says, holding my face between his hands. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah,” I say quietly. “I’m sorry I ran. That was childish.”

“No, you were upset,” Adam says.

“I would have punched Adrian in the throat,” Alania says.

“He’s going to be mad at me,” I say. “I shouldn’t have run away like that.”

“He can get the fuck over it,” Adam says.

“Hey, dick head,” Alania says.

“Milly,” Grayson says, gently touching my back. I pull back from Adam and glare at him.

“If this is how shit is going to be, I’m…”

“Please don’t say it,” Grayson says softly. “I know I deserve it. I know I fucked up.”

“If you ever let that bitch touch you again, I’m done. I don’t give a fuck about The Society or our marriage. I deserve better than that,” I snap at him.

“It won’t happen again,” Grayson says, taking my hands into his. “I don’t know how to get rid of her, but I will.”

“I think you should punish him,” Alania says, making Adrian laugh.

“Okay. How so?” Grayson asks her.

“Oh. Easy,” she says. “You have to sit and watch Adam fuck your wife.”

“If that’s what she thinks is fair,” Grayson says.

“This feels like a trap,” I laugh nervously.

“Not a trap,” Grayson says. “Can I take you home?”

“Fine,” I say with a frown.

“Unless you’d rather go back.”

“After running out like a lunatic? No,” I say. “You go right ahead, if there is someone you’d like to see.”
