“Carried the pots himself.”
“Wish I could have seen that,” King chimes in.
My heartbeat picks up speed again. Gosh, I love them so much. Even before we’d worked everything out and found our way back to each other, he was taking care of my heart.
“Not all of them. Simon helped. A lot. He took a handful to his place for some emergency care.”

With a happy sigh, I relax in my spot betweenAlex and King, marveling at the day. What a ride. Up and down, round and round.
