“How does each time get better and better?” she whispers.

“Because I know what you like.”

“You do.” She kisses my jaw. “Think you’ll have enough time to recover for me to give you a blow job?”

“Maybe if we combine it with a shower, we can make time.”

Joey stands, sliding her thong down and tossing it at me before heading to the bathroom.

“Let’s go, Sam.”

“Do I not get any recovery time?” I laugh.

“I think a make-out session in the shower will help.”

That’s all she has to say before I’m jumping off the couch and chasing after her. She hops into the shower stall and before the water turns on, she screams.

“Oh my God!”

“What?” I crash in behind her.

I have to wrap an arm around her waist to prevent both of us from falling over.

“Spider.” She points to the black bug clinging to the glass shower door.

“That little guy?”

“Sam.” She turns, facing me with wide eyes. “It’s massive. It’s practically the size of my face.”

“More like the size of your pupil.”

“Just kill it.”

She moves out of my arms, grabbing a towel to wrap around herself.

“Relax.” I move into the shower and scoop it into my hand. “I’ll take care of it.”

“You’re not going to kill it?” Joey’s voice is muffled by her hands.

“Why would I do that?” I brush past her and head toward the back door. At least back here, no one is going to see that my dick is hanging out.

Joey follows me out. “What if it comes back inside and bites me and I get poisoned and die?”

I snort a laugh. “It’s not poisonous, darlin’.”

“How do you know?”

Coming back inside, I lift her up and carry her into the bathroom. Her legs wrap around my waist as I set her on the counter.

“I get spiders all the time. Hazards of living out in the country.”

She pushes me back. “Well, it was nice knowing you. Guess I can’t come over here anymore.”

“Over a spider?”

“A massive spider, Sam.”

I brush my fingers over her cheek. “What if I told you I’d protect you from them?”
