“Sam,” he groaned as he threw his head back, while waves of pleasure swept through us.

My body dropped on his, while his arms tightly wrapped around me. My heart rate was out of control, as was our breathing. I pressed my lips against the side of his neck before rolling off him and onto the bed.

“Damn.” He grinned.

My lips formed a smile at the man who had totally undone me once again.

“As much as I want to stay, I can’t,” I said, running my finger down his arm.

“I know.” His fingers swept through my hair. “Let’s get dressed, and I’ll take you home.”

When we reached my building, Wes pulled out his phone and looked at me.

“We’ve had sex twice now, and I don’t even have your phone number.”

I rattled it off as he entered it into his phone. Within seconds, my phone pinged.

“Now you have mine.”

He climbed out of the car and extended his hand. I placed mine in his, and he helped me out like he always did.

“Goodnight, Sam.” His hands gripped my hips while his lips met mine.

“Goodnight, Wes.” I smiled.

As I walked to the building door, I heard him shout, “Good luck with your students tomorrow.”

“Gee, thanks. I’m sure it’s going to be one hell of a day.”

I stepped inside my apartment, set my purse down, and fell onto the couch. Zoey emerged from her bedroom in her sweatpants and tank top and sat down next to me.

“You had sex again, didn’t you?”

“He loved the patty melt.”

“What?” She laughed.

I glanced at her. “He’d never had a patty melt. Hell, he didn’t even know what it was, but he ordered it and loved it.”

“So, you made him eat poor people’s food?” Zoey smirked.

“Stop it.” I smiled, lightly smacking her arm. “I’m in trouble, Zoe.”

“Why?”

“I’m falling for him, and it’s your fault.”

“My fault?” She pressed her finger into her chest and laughed.

“You’re the one who signed me up for that blind date auction.”

“You could have done worse. I’m going to bed. Goodnight.” She jumped up from the couch.

“Night, baby.”

I went into the bathroom, took off my makeup, changed into my nightshirt, and climbed into bed. My body trembled just thinking about him. I didn’t know what would happen with us, and I was afraid to think about it.
