Without warning, he pulls away and flips me onto my back. His hands push my thighs wide apart as he dives back into me. Lifting my hips, I find that spot inside me so perfectly primed that the slightest touch has it going off.

“Yes, yes, yes,” I moan, the climax sending shockwaves through me.

“Good girl,” he growls.

Slipping a hand between us, he strokes my clit as he thrusts into my clenching pussy, setting off more sparks that light the entire length of my body. He releases inside me as I’m still coming. His mouth covers mine and we kiss and groan and whisper to each other as we ride out the sensations together.

It’s not until I feel him shift his body off of mine that I realize we must have dozed off. My body is still slick with sex, our skin damp with sweat. The sheets are hanging halfway off the bedand somehow a pillow ended up on top of the window curtain. I have no memory of getting that wild, but then again, I was too consumed by the things he did to me to pay much attention.

I try to sit up, but he pulls me back down.

“I can’t fall asleep here,” I tell him mournfully. “I have somewhere to be soon.”

“Just a little longer.”

“You’re procrastinating,” I accuse him, unable to suppress a smile.

Looking up, he runs his finger down my cheek.

“I don’t think we destroyed this room nearly enough, Sunshine. I’ve got a few ideas for how we can procrastinate some more.”

I loop my arms around his neck as he moves between my thighs. “Show me.”

SEBASTIAN

I’m lyingin bed with Sunshine tucked against my body, my arm around her waist, her ass tantalizingly close to my groin. We’ve exhausted ourselves fucking creatively on every suitable surface in this hotel room: I bent her over the couch, I lifted her onto the vanity in the bathroom and spread her wide, I had her ride me in reverse cowgirl in an upholstered club chair that I dragged over to face the closet’s full-length mirror so we could both watch her tits bounce. And now it’s all over.

The clock is ticking. Time to go.

I shouldn’t still be in her room, to tell the truth. I’m not even sure why I am, or why I chose to see her again in the first place. My eyes stray to a lacy scrap of fabric on the floor that has to be her panties, no doubt soaked with the scent of her arousal, and my dick twitches. I know exactly what she looks like in those panties, and exactly what she looks like out of them.

She’s a hot piece of ass, I remind myself. Nothing more. But even as I think it, I know it’s not a reasonable excuse for my behavior. I’ve slept with plenty of beautiful women, and I’ve never felt the urge to get a second taste. There’s something aboutthiswoman, though. She’s an itch I can’t stop scratching. And the scratching feels so fucking good.

That’s all she is. An itch. A compulsion. An addiction, maybe—a rush of dopamine that I keep going back to get another hit of. She’s young and fresh and carefree, an escape from reality wrapped up in a perky set of tits and a smile. No wonder I wanted more. She lights up the reward centers in my brain.

It’s the only explanation for why I’m hit with a wave of anxiety when I think about her leaving the island. I just got a new toy, and now it’s being taken away from me. That makes sense, doesn’t it?

I watch the slow rise and fall of her shoulders as she breathes, the anxiety rising up in me again. Pulling my gaze from her, I search the floor for my clothes. This needs to end right now. I can’t sit here trying to deal with a bunch of random, senseless brooding just because my testosterone is raging. I need to get the hell out of this hotel room and put this woman out of my mind for good. Shake her off and get back to my old self. Predictable, routine, and always in control of my actions.

It’s the best thing for both of us. The last thing either of us needs is for Sunshine to get attached and start thinking this thing between us means more than it does. It’s just a vacation fling. Hot sex with a time limit. We’re consenting adults, and this is the deal we willingly signed up for. A good old-fashioned hit it and quit it.

I’m not just saying that to convince myself I’m not a villain, either. We knew what this was going into it. She’s never acted shy about what we’re doing or expressed any second thoughts. She hasn’t tried to play games or ask for anything more. Not that there’s even a remote possibility we could have more.

Unless…

Christ, why am I even thinking this way?

Yet the thought has been intruding on my mind all morning. The thought that maybe we could try to do something long distance. Not a relationship, nothing like that, just a kind of…arrangement. Where every so often we meet up again and screw each other’s brains out and then we go back to our normal lives and there’s nothing complicated about it. As long as it’s mutually beneficial for both parties, I don’t see a problem with it.

I think it over some more. We could meet once or twice a month on the weekends, jet setting from one hotel to the next, until we have the time to take a longer vacation. Maybe she’s the kind of person who enjoys her independence and has no desire to deal with a partner whose very presence demands massive quantities of her time and attention, demands that she consider them first before making any life choices of her own. That’s something I can understand.

On the other hand, I know next to nothing about her. Not her name, where she’s from, what she’s about to start doing for work. Maybe this kind of arrangement doesn’t fit with the life she’s going back to. Maybe she’s only comfortable with this no-strings-attached sexbecauseshe’s on vacation. Sunshine might be a completely different person at home.

Shit, she might even have a boyfriend waiting for her. I never directly asked, and she didn’t volunteer the information. They might have an open relationship, and do I want to be one more guy out of many guys that she’s fucking? A spike of jealousy turns my stomach, even as I dismiss the thought. If she does have a boyfriend, it’s none of my business. I have no right to feel possessive.

Silently, I scoff at myself. Who the hell am I? It seems like I barely recognize myself since meeting her. Those icy walls I’ve put up the last few years have begun to thaw. My body feels lighter, my mind less filled with destructive thoughts. Even at work, dealing with Daisy’s frustrating lack of competence over the last few days, I haven’t felt my usual levels of stress or annoyance. It’s like the tiniest sliver of Sunshine’s sunny personality has rubbed off on me.
