Thursday, October 10 - Ajaccio, Corsica
Ben woke to find himself staring at Rob's sleeping visage. He smiled with happiness.
He’s so handsome and absolutely adorable when he’s sleeping. I could just look at him all day.
There was a bit of light peeking in through the drapes, so Ben knew it was morning, but he couldn’t see the bedside clock and didn’t want to turn over to reach his phone. He also didn’t want to risk waking Rob up, so he kept still and continued to look at him with a goofy grin.
Eventually, he realized he really needed to pee, so he rose as gently as he could and went into the bathroom.
When he returned to bed, Rob’s eyes were open. “Hi, sexy.”
“Hi yourself,” Ben replied. He glanced at the clock and saw that it was just after nine. “Are we going to be lazy today?”
“No, we’re not,” Rob said, laughing. “We’re gonna shower and then have breakfast and then I was thinking maybe we could walk into town. Perhaps find a nice place to have lunch.”
“Do you mean shower together?” Ben asked, his eyes twinkling.
“Of course. Saving water is a good thing, right?”
Ben turned on the water in the shower, letting it warm up before they stepped in. They washed each other’s hair then Rob lathered Ben’s body. He took a little extra time on Ben’s cock and balls, then moved around to his ass and lingered in his crack, teasing his hole. They kissed, then Ben had his turn soaping up Rob everywhere.
Before they could go any further, Ben’s stomach growled. Rob laughed, “I think someone needs to be fed.”
They rinsed off and then dried each other, both still semi-hard. But they had things to do and places to go, so they behaved themselves.
Once they were dressed, they walked to the Bluefin Bistro to see if they could get a table for breakfast. Since they were in port, the restaurant wasn’t crowded so they were seated immediately.
They ordered ham, cheddar, and mushroom omelets with hash brown potatoes and whole grain toast. While they waited, they sipped their coffee and Ben asked, “Have you been to Corsica before?”
“No, I haven’t. That’s why I thought about going into town today. Have you been here before?”
“No. It’s gonna be fun exploring a new place together, isn’t it?”
“Absolutely,” Rob replied, face glowing with excitement. “I was reading the port information, the center of town is only about half a kilometer from the port, so that’s an easy walk. We can do some exploring and have lunch, and I might try to find a little something for Sam.”
“Oh, I meant to ask you where the next cruise was going. I kind of thought you might hit one of the ports that we went to before heading across the Atlantic.”
Rob shook his head. “We’re not going back to any of those ports, actually. That’s why I thought I’d look for something here. We’re stopping at three ports in Spain: Málaga, Cartagena, and Cádiz. I think there might be a day at sea in between each one, and we also stop in Tenerife. Then we cross, so that’s seven more days at sea.”
“And you fly home from Fort Lauderdale?” asked Ben.
“Yeah, but not until the next day. We’re staying over at a hotel for one night and then we’ll fly home the next afternoon.”
After breakfast, they stopped by Ben’s suite so that he could pick up his backpack. They saw his cabin attendant in the hall and reminded them that he was staying with Rob and not to worry about his suite. When he had last been there yesterday to pick up some clothes, he told them that he wouldn’t be around much and gave them a nice tip, hoping they wouldn’t think it was odd for him to stay somewhere else. But the more Ben thought about it, the more he realized that they’d probably seen stranger things on past cruises.
Back at Rob’s suite, they freshened up and Rob got his backpack out of the closet. He then grabbed two bottles of water from the fridge and handed one to Ben. The day was sunny, but a bit breezy, so they both chose light jackets. If it got too warm later, they could carry the jackets in their backpacks.
“Ready?” Ben asked.
“Yeah, let’s go.”
* * *
Time flew as they walked around town with no real purpose other than seeing the sights and shopping.
Rob had found a beautiful silver and glass pendant on a black silk cord for Sam. And Ben saw a colorful scarf that he thought Amanda would like. He picked a similar one for Julie and bought them both. In their travels through the streets of the Ajaccio, they noticed Melissa and Don from their Tuscania tour, and they waved at each other as they wandered along.
After a while, they found a little park area and sat for a spell on a bench so they could watch people and enjoy the sights and sounds of life in the town.
