“I love you,” he said.
“I love you too.Do you think this is a good time to ask if you want more kids?”Maeve asked.
He chuckled.“I want kids.Do you want kids?”
“Yeah, I want a ton of them.I want to be a mom so badly.”
“Well, after we take a shower, we’ll start working on a family.Do you want to have kids before our wedding or after?”he asked.
“I don’t care, just so long as we have kids.”
He kissed her neck, and he finally felt complete.
Chapter Fourteen
“You have everythingyou want,” Razor said.
Doc glanced over toward Razor after coming out of the church.It was time to give the priest another hefty donation so he’d be willing to marry him and Maeve in the same church as her parents.This was the same thing he had to do for Razor and Eden.The priest required extra payment in order to do anything.Everyone had a price.He didn’t mind paying for Maeve to live out her dream.
“I nearly have everything I want.”
This was the first month where Maeve’s menstrual cycle was in fact late.He wanted to take a test to see if they were indeed pregnant, while Maeve wanted to wait.
“What’s missing?”Razor asked.
“I want more kids with Maeve,” he said, and he wasn’t ashamed to admit he wanted to have a family with her.
“Wow.How are Charlotte and Nancy handling this?”
“They’re good.Charlotte is actually calling her Stepmommy at the moment.”
Razor laughed.“Yeah, she referred to me as her uncle.”
Doc ran a hand down his face.“I’m worried about her.”
“Maeve?”Razor asked.
