“He said a lot of things.He said his cheating was my fault.”
“Classic loser move, and the words of a coward.He couldn’t own up to his own shit.Move on, what is next?”
Abi frowned, and he pressed a quick kiss to her lips.
“You actually believe you’re the one to blame?”he asked.
“He told me I was boring, and a prude, and there were a lot of other words mentioned.That’s why I went to that club.I don’t even know how—”
“I let you,” Roman said.

There was keeping a secret, like the fact he was aware of Brad’s cheating long before Abigail found out.Then there was keeping the secret of the day she discovered her boyfriend cheated.Roman had known what was going on, but he sent Abi to discover it herself.
He’d grown tired of waiting to invite her to the club.
“I put the card on your desk.I made sure your application was approved and sped up, to allow you access.The only way you can attend next time is with someone who has sponsored you.You’ll be mine.”

“I don’t know what Brad said to you, but I felt like you needed something.”
