He said nothing for a moment. At last he nodded. “I’ll help you any way I can.”
I bit back a smile. “You may regret saying that.” I kissed him, slow and tender. “So what were you doing instead of working on your skate?”
“I got talking to Noah. About you, mostly.”
I stilled. “I see.”
Dean cupped my nape. “All good. He wanted to know when I first knew how I felt about you.” He smiled. “And that got me telling him you’d barely noticed me.”
I laughed. “Is that what you thought?”
His eyes gleamed. “So youdidnotice me.”
“How could anyone not notice Dean Foster?”
He held my head steady, gazing into my eyes. “Wait a minute. When did I become more than just Dean Foster, skater?”
