Never in my life would I forget how he came. Lithe body tensed and arched. The cords of his neck popping, hips stuttering in uncoordinated and slightly aborted thrusts.

“Luke.” The shout ripped from his heaving lungs.

Whether by my name on his lips at such an intimate and exposed moment, the sight of him ensnared in euphoria, or my own nerve endings flinging me out into space, I crested and dropped into oblivion. The familiar waves hit in unfamiliar ways, pulsing in the parts of me that still held him.

“Yes,” he breathed.

Come heated my skin as it landed on my stomach and eventually cooled, rational thought returning as it did. Asher had moved my legs to his shoulders at some point and sat staring at me, petting my thighs and kissing my calf.

“Jesus, you’re one sexy-ass man.”

I chuckled, released the death hold I had on the bed, and covered my face with my hands.

“You okay?” he asked. “Anything hurt?”

“Too early to tell.”

He patted my knee. “Come on, let’s soak in that monster tub you got.”

I winced when he withdrew, more from the oddness than pain. That—was unpleasant. Asher chuckled as I wiggled my hips around.

Before we could get off the bed, bright explosions of red, blue, green, purple, white, and yellow exploded in the sky into round, expanding shapes. The boom rattled the window and echoed in my chest.

“For fuck’s sake,” Asher huffed. “I told them to do that a few minutes earlier.”

I hugged him to me. “Happy New Year,” I said against his mouth.

“Yes, it will be.” He kissed me, then rubbed his nose on mine. “Happy New Year, Luke.”

We headed for the bathroom, hand in hand.

“I think I prefer you inside me than how empty I feel now.”

He sat on the edge of the tub and reached for the nozzle. “Doable, but it might be awkward while I’m in class and you’re at work.”

I barked a laugh, then shrieked when he pulled me onto his lap. “I’m too big and too old to sit on your lap, Asher.”

“The hell you are.” He kissed the backside of my arm while keeping his fingers under the water as it ran. “You’re never too old or too anything to have this sweet-as-fuck ass planted right here where it belongs.”

I turned away from him to hide my grin. “Was that okay? Our sex?”What is a question I never thought I’d ask anyone?

Asher reared back. “Okay? I mean, it might’ve been okay to you, but for me, it was a fuckton more thanokay.”

I kissed him to shut him up. “You’re right, it was more than okay.”

“Say it: Fuckton more.”

I chuckled. “Fuckton more.”

“Damn right it was. When can we do it again?”

Laughing harder, I stood, in spite of his efforts to keep me seated, then lowered into the pooling water.

“What? I’m serious,” he said, stepping in and kneeling between my legs. “I’m a growin’ boy, sweetheart. A horny one too, and I need sex more than food.”

The water hadn’t run too high yet. Asher leaned in and took my soft cock into his warm mouth. I groaned and laid my head onto the edge of the tub.

“You keep that up and I’ll be hard in no time.”
