“You are not your father, Alex. You love me, and you show me that all the time. You might be cocky, and arrogant, and way too charming for your own good,” I pause, and grin.

“Wow, thanks. Really making me feel great,” he replies, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

“But you are also kind, and smart, and dedicated to your friends, your family, your business, and me. You’re a good man, Alexander Devlin. You’remygood man.”

He takes me by the hips and tugs me in until our bodies are pressed together. “Yours, am I? You’re really going to take all this on?”

“Absolutely. Once we get your nerdy side up to par, you’ll be perfect.” I smirk at him saucily. He chuckles and smacks my lips with another kiss.

“Come on, enough giving me a hard time. You need to meet my parents, and then we need to find a hotel to stay at so I can fuck you senseless.”

My entire body shudders. It’s only been a couple of days and I’m craving his touch. With just a few dirty words, he’s ramped up my arousal so high my panties are already wet.

“Do I really need to meet them, or can we just skip to part two of that sentence?” I quip, but really, I’m only partly joking.

Alex squeezes my hand and opens the door in front of us.

“You need to, my mum is excited to meet you.” He leans down so he can whisper in my ear. “But I promise to make it up to you later.”
