“Devon,” she whimpers.

“You want to come already?”

“No.”

“Then what is it?”

“I … I love you.” Hearing the words leave her mouth means everything to me. She gets it now. She understands I will do anything for her. That I want her, and I need her.

“Fuck me, Caydence. Take it all,” I tell her as she keeps going. She rides me hard until her body begins to tremble and she lets go. Her sweet wetness envelopes my cock as I release inside her. I sit up and wrap my arms around her, holding her in place as I press a kiss to her shoulder.

“You love me?” I ask her.

“Yes,” she whispers.

“You mean it?”

“Yes.”

“Good. Because you’re everything to me.” I kiss her shoulder once more, and her pussy tightens around me. I groan before lifting her off me. She stands, and I move to do the same. Then I take her hand and lead her upstairs so I can clean her back up.

When we get into the bathroom, she stares into the mirror.

“Does this make me crazy?” she asks.

“What do you mean?”

“That I love you after everything you’ve done. Am I crazy?”

“Why would that make you crazy?” I ask her as I grab a rag and wet it.

“You killed someone. You carved your name into my back. This … it just doesn’t happen in real life, Devon.”

“Why not? Because society says it’s not normal? Maybe it’s our normal.”

“You think this is normal?” she laughs a little.

“I didn’t hear any complaints while you were fucking me.”

“I mean it, Devon. This is wrong.” I step up behind her and wipe the blood off her back as she watches me in the mirror.

“Who’s to say it’s wrong? Who’s to say what’s right? We all like different things, don’t we? We’re allowed to like different things, Caydence. We don’t have to be what others deem as normal.”

“This doesn’t bother you?”

“Not in the slightest,” I tell her as I finish cleaning her up. I move to clean myself up when she takes the cloth and does it for me. Then she raises her hand and traces her name on my chest.

“Why me?”

“Why not you?”

“I’m just some girl who got shit on in life. I’m no one special,” she says softly.

“Maybe not to them. Maybe not to the ones who hurt you, but to me, you are. You’re more than special, Caydence.”

“What if you get tired of me, and this was all for nothing?” she asks, keeping her eyes on my chest. I reach for her chin and lift it so she’s looking at me.

“I’ll never get tired of you. In fact, I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of you.”

“I’m not sure why.”

“Because you’re everything I can picture myself having forever, Caydence. You’re the earth that keeps me grounded. You’re the air that keeps me breathing. You don’t have to understand it because I do.”

“Are you sure?”

“I just carved your name into my chest, into my flesh. Yes, I’m sure.” I lean down and kiss her softly, letting her know that everything is the way it’s supposed to be. She’s exactly where she’s supposed to be, with me.
