“Why not? Something against my house?” I ask her.

“No. I just didn’t think you’d let me sleep there,” she adds.

“Caydence, come on. If you need rest, I’ll let you have it. If you need fucking, I can do that too.”

I lead her over to my car and open the door, ushering her inside. She climbs in, and I close her door before walking around and getting in.

I start the car and take off toward my house in silence. It makes me wonder what she’s thinking about.

When we arrive, I climb out and open her door, grabbing her hand in mine.

“Are you sure you don’t mind me taking a nap here?”

“Why would I? I have some things to get done, and you can rest,” I tell her.

We head inside, and I lead her up to my bed, where I pull the blankets back.

“Take off your clothes.” She looks at me funny as I walk over and grab a t-shirt from the drawer and bring it back to her. She pulls her shirt off, and I slip mine on over her head before I nod to her bottoms. She bends over and pulls her jeans off before sitting on the edge of the bed.

“All the way in, baby.” She smiles at me before climbing in and lying down. I pull the blanket over her and watch as she snuggles into my pillow.

“Sleep, baby. I’ll be in the other room.”
