Shay nodded.“Yeah and we’ll find her too.I already have Trudy looking for her hiding place and we have a flag out on her passport.”

“I hope it’s a facial flag.Because she’s been evading the law for lots of years already. So her name won’t match whatever name she’s going by nowadays.”

Shay nodded.“I agree.”

Just then, they heard a commotion down the hall and footsteps running.

Bane stepped out to look into the main room.

Shay did as well.

Spencer had somehow gotten free and was now rushing for the front door.

“Holy shit,” Shay muttered.

Chapter Eight

Bane slipped his handinto his pocket and brought out the remote.Just as Spencer reached the door, Bane hit the button.

Spencer stopped and screamed as he fell to the floor. He began convulsing like he was having a seizure.

Mountain finally arrived then stopped to watch the man moving around almost mindlessly on the parquet flooring.“Damnit, he ducked between my legs like a little kid and just took off.”

Everyone stepped out of the infirmary and watched as this man kept wriggling around like a human worm.

James walked out and shook his head.“I forgot that thing was still on him.”

“What the hell is he talking about?”Shay asked as he stared at Bane.

Bane shrugged.“We were playing a game of truth or dare.I think you saw some of that on Pappy’s phone.I used it to encourage him to tell the truth.”He looked back at the man lying on the floor, unmoving now.“It’s an incentive to tell the truth or it can be used to break a man.”

James moved closer and told Shay, “He essentially put a cattle prod down his pants. And damn, it worked pretty damn good for being non-lethal.”

Deke shook his head.“It may be nonlethal but sweet Jesus, that man ain’t gonna be able to use his cock again.”

Bane shrugged.“He’s going to prison for the rest of his life.He doesn’t need it.He should have known better than to try and run.I can’t be responsible because Spencer Wagner is a moron.”
