“This is so fucking good, bro. Holy shit,” he says, and I have to agree. “Well, since we have practice midday tomorrow. I say we find something to do tonight, because I heard there is a partyat one of the frat houses,” he says as I take another bite of my pizza.

“I’m down. Just text me and we can pregame in my dorm if you want. Did any of the others get here yet?” I ask, and he shakes his head.

“I haven’t seen Max or Shawn yet, but they told me they would hit me up when they got here. Lucky assholes got to room together.”

“I’m not looking forward to seeing who's with me. I swear to god he better not be a dick,” I tell him, and he laughs.

“You do realize it's someone on our team, right? Coach apparently made sure we roomed together,” he informs me.

“I wasn’t aware of that,” I say, and he shakes his head.

“Well, shit. Now you can stop crying like a little bitch about it,” he says, and I raise a brow, then laugh.

“Okay, okay. Well, find out who else is on the team and round them up. Let’s all go out tonight. Fuck it,” I say, and the biggest smile crosses his face.

“Done,” he says, finishing up his pizza. We sit here for a while bullshitting, then we go our separate ways and I head back to the dorm. The place is still bustling as I weave through people getting to my room. Taking out my key, I flash it across the pad and swing open the door, stopping in my tracks. My new roommate is standing on the opposite side of the room, putting his clothes away. I clear my throat and he spins, taking me in as his eyes widen.

“Z-zan?” he stutters, and I smile wide.

This is going to be so much fucking fun.

Chapter 3

Bastian Vos

The sinister look on his gorgeous face doesn’t look inviting. After all these months, did I ever expect to see him here? Absolutely not. Did I pray I would? Definitely. It seems I can’t get off without thinking of him, but I’ll never tell him that.

He steps into the room, slamming the door behind him, running his hands through his short black hair before removing his shirt and throwing it into his laundry basket. His eyes collide with mine, and I gasp as I take him in. He's always been incredibly muscular, but Jesus Christ. Training did his body good. I haven’t seen him since our teams played against one another last year. He wouldn’t even look at me back then. He almost broke my wrist that game. I deserved it though. All that anger I saw when we faced off is embedded in my brain, but maybe now I can explain why I left so abruptly.

"I never in a million years thought I'd run into you here, of all places," he says, interrupting my thoughts.

“I could say the same for you,” I answer, turning away to finish putting my belongings in the dresser next to my bed. His warm breath on my neck, coupled with the feeling of his presence behind me, sends shivers up my spine.

“Still so responsive to me after all this time, Buttercup,” he whispers, running his tongue along the shell of my ear. “Did you ever break up with that girlfriend of yours?” I immediately shake my head

“What about you?” I ask, glancing over my shoulder as he takes a step back, leaving me breathless just from that small encounter. I don’t turn around to see the look on his face, but I know he’s pissed when he slams the door to our shared bathroom, engaging the lock. Sighing, I shut my eyes for a second, trying to center myself. Zan has always had this effect on me, and I'm not sure how to feel since I didn't expect him to be here, but now that he is….I’m cooked. So fucking cooked. As long as I can remember we’ve been rivals, always facing off when our schools played one another. The summer camp—changed everything. At least I thought it did…

Hearing the shower turn on, I let out a breath I didn’t even realize I was holding. Adjusting my hard cock, I continue to put away my stuff while trying to figure out the right words to say to him when he comes back out.I won’t survive this if he’s going to be mad at me. I need to explain myself. I just don’t know where to start, or if he will even believe me.

Getting off the plane hours ago, I called Leelee, letting her know I arrived safely and took a cab to campus. Mom texted me before I even stepped foot off the plane to make sure I knew how to get from the airport to the school in this big city but also to remind me that she was going away for the weekend with her new boyfriend. I have no details on him, not even a name, but I’m happy for her. It’s taken us a lot to get where we are since I’velived with my dad my whole life. Then last summer, everything changed. The door swinging open takes me out of my thoughts.

“The team is going to a party tonight. You’re required to come, so hurry up and get your shit done, then get ready,” he says, dropping his towel and giving his back to me. I don’t say anything, just stare at his nice ass. He looks over his shoulder and I quickly turn back around and get to work.

Hours later, I’m standing at the bar in some frat house filled with people drinking and dancing. I was glad to see I already knew a few guys on the team from summer camp, so that was a relief. The minute we got here, I dispersed from the team and started drinking. The rush of the alcohol through my blood stream has me feeling less stressed and more comfortable than I felt when we arrived. Shot after shot, my vision blurs, but I don’t give a fuck. For once, I feel like I’m on top of the world.

“Yo, Vos. You’re up,” King calls from the beer pong table. Walking over, I fist bump some of the guys and rack up my side, but some girl with blonde hair wearing a short black skirt and ablue low cut top grabs my hand, pulling me onto the makeshift dance floor. I smirk at the guys and they all hoot and holler, causing me to laugh as I grip her hips, letting her ass grind against my cock. Moving my hips to the sensual beat as the music blares through the house, my eyes collide with Zan’s from across the room as he sits on the couch with some girl in his lap, giving him a dance.

He raises a brow, and I roll my eyes as the blonde lifts her arms, wrapping them around the back of my neck, pressing her back against my chest. While the girl in his lap continues to dry hump him, he never averts his eyes. He grabs a handful of her ass while his other hand is underneath her skirt. Two can play this game.Running my hand up my girl’s torso, she presses her ass harder into my groin as I run my fingers around the curve of her breasts, giving her nipples a flick. He snarls from across the room, and I don’t understand what his issue is. I haven’t spoken to him in a year and he’s already behaving like a caveman. It’s not like we ended the summer openly claiming one another and things have changed. He’s going to have to use his big boy words, otherwise, he can fuck off.

Breaking eye contact, I concentrate on the strange girl in my arms as the room slightly spins, but fuck it. It’s my first night in New York and I'm going to live it up. Suddenly, the girl is ripped from my arms and Zan is in my face. I shove him away but he doesn’t go far. The man is built like a brickhouse. Jesus. He grips the front of my shirt, causing me to stumble a bit but he pulls me to him.

“Outside now!” he orders, and I laugh. He may be the captain of the team and has the authority to tell me what to do, but fuck him. Ripping my arm away, I walk towards the bar, but he grips my shoulder, forcing me to look at him. “I’m not playing with you, Bash. You’re shit faced. Get the fuck outside,” he spits.

Shrugging him off, I walk towards the back door, pushing it open as the cold night air smacks me in the face. Taking a deep breath, I step down the stairs with him on my heels. I’m not sure how the hell to get back to the dorm, so I just keep walking around the outside of the house until I find the front, and still, I don’t stop. “You’re going the wrong way, Buttercup,” he tells me, and I whirl on him, getting in his face, gripping his shirt.

“Stop fucking calling me that!” I growl, and he smirks.

“No, now stop being a baby and let's get you back to the dorm,” he says, and I laugh.
