?His smile turns smokey as he raises a brow. “Already putting a label on us, Firecracker?”

?My heart thuds dully because I know it will never be with me. But I don’t let him see that.

?I glower and walk out. Letting him hear me murmuringstupid devil mind tricks. “Says the one strapped to my side like a love-sick puppy.”

?He chuckles as he follows me. Oblivious to my turmoil and the pain and betrayal he’ll feel at the end of all this.

?“I have been told I have golden retriever energy.”

?I put my earbud back in and turn up my volume to the max. It still doesn’t drown out his laugh as he strides up to my side and keeps pace but it helps.

?Born to Diestarts playing and it doesn’t help me in trying to hide what I am from Callahan as I listen to Lana Del Rey. If anything it plays into what will be happening at the end of all of this, but part of me feels bittersweet listening to this.

?A doomed narrative, a fractured love story.

?I continue listening to it anyway. In a way, it calms those inner emotions and turmoil. I already know what will happen, and I will make sure those I care about are safe. I will make sure they will not feel the pain as I always have.

?Another song begins playing and I allow my emotions to drift with the music. I allow myself to find the calm and serene within.

?The power of music. It’s as simple as that.

Varian – Novam 15

You’re fucking fated to the only full shifting demigod!

?I’m going to kill him.

?CASTIEL!

?I ram into every shield. No defense is strong enough to keep me out. To keep me from strangling the male I’ve always considered a brother.

?He lied.

?He lied right to my face whileflauntingher fuckingbitemark.

?A force of destruction rips through the air, crashing into the walls and splintering the ceiling. Fractures spiderweb across the ceiling of my classroom from the force. It had taken a fullweek for the cleaning crew to fix my classroom after Mavyn and Percius’s battle in here – making it look brand new – and now there are cracks along the ceiling like there were two months ago.

?I try ripping into his mind again, but his last defense holds strong. Only because of his primordial mother is he able to keep me out. He better be worshiping her for that.

?I’d use the strength of my true form to get through, but there’s a knock on my door. I fling it open and there’s a line a students on the other side. The first one being a certain rosy eyed bloodsucker. I haven’t seen her since Thursday of last week. Four whole days I’ve gone without seeing my fated.

?She steps into the classroom and immediately looks up. My aura is still fuming but she doesn’t spare it a glance as she raises a brow at me before tugging her earbuds out and making her way to her desk.

?Callahan grins knowingly at me as he follows after her and her roommate keeps her eyes on the ground. Ms. Waterstone hasn’t looked at me once – hasn’t spoken, hasn’t participated in class, hasn’t given me any reason to speak with her – in the last two months. Not since that first confrontation Mavyn had with my twin brother.

?Everyone else starts filing in, hesitantly and carefully not gawking at the ceiling. My eyes don’t leave her. There’s something different about her. Something –

?She sits in her seat and my mind processes that it was not rosy pink eyes I had first seen. Once she’s sat and sets her tablet and music player on the desk she lifts her head and looks directly at me.

?Directly at me with blood red eyes.

?Her aura sitting very close around her sparking with flickers of power. I had felt the clouds rolling in earlier – that must have been her. Using her magic over the element of lightning to create the not quite formed storm. I assume so she doesn’t have to use her umbrella since it had been a clear sky this morning and she doesn’t have it with her.

?I wish I could touch her again. Have her in my arms like she was before. Her lips about to brush mine and her scent the only thing filling my lungs.

?She’s fated to Castiel.
