I winked at her, and then we finished eating.

And after her fourth yawn in five minutes, I gathered her in my arms and carried her to bed.

She was in a tee and short shorts. That would work.

I tucked her in and pressed a kiss on her temple.

Then I went and cleaned up, locked the door, turned out the lights, did what I needed to do in the bathroom, and joined her.

The moment I lay down, she rolled over while lightly snoring and curled up into my body.

I fell asleep with a smile on my face and my nose buried in her hair.

Chapter 23

Creedence

It was two weeks later, and we were at the clubhouse for a barbecue.

Just then, Lena called everyone to listen up.

“There’s a charity contest at Juices this weekend. All proceeds go to St. Morgan’s Autistic Clinic.”

I’d heard about that place from working at the hospital.

They did such good work.

The clinics were once a week, and it was where parents could go to get anything they needed to help their kids prosper.

I lifted my hand, “I’m in.”

She looked at me, then looked at Ripper and winced, “Umm, I don’t think you can enter.”

I frowned, “Why the fuck not?”

Alexander chuckled.

“Well, the contest is for the most indecently dressed woman who still looks classy.”

I nodded, “Got ya.”

Alexander squeezed my thigh, “You can enter it.”

I looked at him and lifted a brow, “Really?”

He chuckled, “I can control my murdering tendencies for a good charity. Watched your face light up when Lena said the name of it.”

I grinned, then I winked at him, then looked at Lena, “I’m in.”

She squealed, then Raine nodded, “I’m totally in.”

Ripper

I was having the best dream.

Creedence had her hand wrapped around my cock as she lowered her mouth... And then something occurred to me... would it feel real as fuck if I was dreaming?

And I knew that it wouldn’t.
