Like it’s an Olympic sport. My hair, my clothes, my friends. My taste in music! It’s relentless.

That sounds like a lot to take.

And bigger things she tries to control by “worrying” about me. That way, she can feel like a saint and control me at the same time. To be clear, my mom doesn’treallycare that much about the drugs. A little bit, sure. But that’s not what really matters to her.
