She closed the distance between them fast and caught Mallory before security could even process what was happening. Itwasn’t a slap. It wasn’t a pull. Tattiana grabbed her by the side of the head and took her down to the floor. She started working like she had been waiting for a reason. All that I could think about was that she was doing to Mallory what she wanted to do to my ass for kidnapping her. Mallory screamed and grabbed at her hair, then got a fistful of it.
Tatti was still working, and punching all over her head and face. This shit was wild. She ain’t look like she had it in her, but again, me snatching her up must had gave her some anger that packed some extra strength.
“Aye—” I moved and so did Sam but it took both of us and another one of my men to get in there and pull Tattiana off. She was breathing hard, chest heaving, but she wasn’t even really ruffled about it. Once she calmed down, she straightened herself up and smoothed her hair back down while two of my guys dragged Mallory toward the door.
Mallory was still yelling, hair a even bigger mess, eye swelling and a knot on her forehead. The sheet barely hanging on.
“Get off me! He gone answer to me for this bullshit. Who the fuck is that bitch? What’s her name? Kaseem! You gone call me—”
“Bye, bitch! Get the fuck out my husband shit before I kill yo ass. That last round was light.” Tattiana said from behind me.
I turned around and looked at her. She was messy as hell. She only lied and said I was her husband to spite that other bitch. In the car on the ride here, she was completely against the arrangement. Now I was her husband. These women were wild as hell.
She had her arms crossed again. And she was smiling now, just barely, watching Mallory get walked out my house. Then as the front door opened and Mallory got pushed through it still talking, Tatti laughed loud and evil while she stuck her tongue out.
“You got beat up and thrown out on your ass,” she called after her. “On a Friday. You a loser bitch.”
I stood there for a second.
This girl.
I turned around before she could see that I almost smiled and started back walking down the hall toward her room. “Come on.”
She walked behind me, still pissed about being brought here and having to beat Mallory ass. I wasn’t going to address it because I didn’t want this muthafucka thinking that I had to answer to her ass. Something about her was different though. I ain’t know what to expect when I pulled up on her, but it for sure wasn’t her tearing my house up, dragging a bitch in my hall.
I had to get my mind back to business because if I allowed it, she’d for sure be a damn distraction.

The room was set up right. King sized bed with satin sheets and fur comforter, private bathroom, walk-in closet already stocked because I’d had my father gather all of her information from her father, then I had my family’s head of staff handle it.From the clothes, pajamas, down to the personal shit she would need.
She had a nice sized tv on the wall, and everything she needed in here. Her mean ass wasn’t going to be able to say otherwise.
She walked in slow, looking around, taking it all in. I could see her processing it. The size of it. The fact that it wasn’t a cell likeI knew that she was expecting. I think part of her expected the worst.
She turned around and looked at me standing in the doorway. Some of the adrenaline from the hallway had settled and now she was back to that same hard look she’d been wearing since I put her in my truck.
“Why would you bring me here knowing you had all of that going on? Damn, why couldn’t you just let me live my life? You shouldn’t even want a bitch that don’t want to be tied down to you. And then you let me walk into all this bullshit.” she voiced.
I leaned against the doorframe. “That had nothing to do with you.”
“It had everything to do with me. That woman was in your house. Your bed. And you dragged me here in the middle of all that like it was nothing, causing me to have to get out of character.”
“It is nothing.” I said it straight because it was the truth. “Me and you don’t have anything between us. This is an arrangement. A transaction. You don’t want me and I damn sure don’t want this situation, but here we are. And I’m still a man. I got needs and I’m going to get them taken care of the same way I always have. That’s not changing because of a piece of paper. That was one of the women I deal with, and although I don’t owe you no explanation, I thought she was going to be gone when you got here.”
She stared at me.
“So you’re telling me,” she said slowly, “that while I’m supposed to be forced into being your wife, you’re going to keep doing whatever you want.”
“I’m telling you that nothing about this is what either one of us chose, and I’m not about to pretend otherwise. I’m not gone fake a relationship with you for the comfort of it. That’s not who I am. We need each other right now, and you are the key to my future. We gotta make this shit work and the first step is you knowing, and staying in yo place.
“That’s not who you are? Stay in my place?” she repeated, like she was trying to figure out how a person could say that with a straight face.
“Yeah! Stay in YOUR PLACE. The quicker you understand that, the better off you’ll be.” I said firm, and watched her mouth drop before her face scrunched up.
“You gotta be out your mind! I mean, I figured that much when you had your goons to snatch me up but damn. You really are crazy. I know my place, and I know that it isn’t in some house that I’ve been kidnapped and dragged to. The same house where you’d been fuckin another bitch at sometime today before my arrival. And my place damn sure isn’t to let a nigga who’s supposedly going to be my husband fuck on other bitches and I sit back quietly. I’ll tell you now, this ain’t gone work!” She barked and stood her ground. I laughed inside my head, but ignored her ass on the outside.
“You got everything you need in here.” I pushed off the doorframe. “There’s security outside that door all night. If you need something, let somebody know and they’ll get it to you.” I paused. “And don’t try to do anything stupid. It won’t end well and you’re smart enough to know that already. There is no way to exit this house. All locks will be secured from the inside out. Windows too.”
