“Girl, please.” Gabi sucked her teeth. “You can’t say something like that and expect me to be quiet. Who the hell did you have sex with?”
Cyren bit back a smile. “A man.”
Gabi stared at her through the screen. “You think I’m slow? Obviously, it was with a man. Which man?”
Cyren hesitated long enough for Gabi’s eyes to widen even more.
“Oh, my God. It was a random-ass nigga!?”
“Can you not make me sound reckless?” Cyren groaned.
“Were you reckless?”
Cyren pinched her fingers together but didn’t make them touch. “A little.”
Gabi dramatically fell back against her couch. “Oh, this is better than I thought.”
Cyren laughed despite the heat creeping up her neck. “It just happened.”
“How does sexjust happen?”
Cyren paused because honestly… she didn’t have a good answer.
“I was emotional,” she admitted. “And I wanted him to make me stop feeling what I was feeling.”
Gabi’s teasing expression softened. “Cy…”
“And before you blame the tequila, yes, I was drunk. But I’m not about to act like that’s why it happened.” Cyren picked at her nails, absentmindedly. “I wanted to fuck him.”
How she’d gone from boo-hooing on Heavy’s shoulder to crying on his dick would forever be a mystery. The kind Shaggy, Scooby, and the gang could solve because it wasn’t hard to figure out. It was quite simple, actually, and that’s what she was trying to explain to her.
Gabi stared at her and slowly smiled. “Oh. Well, okay, then.”
Cyren rolled her eyes. “Don’t do that.”
“Was it good?”
She tried to hold back her smile, but failed miserably, and nodded. “Mhm.”
“That man put that thang on you, didn’t he?”
Cyren choked on the water she’d just sipped from. “Gabriella....please, okay?”
“That’s a yes, then.”
Cyren covered her face with one hand as she laughed. “Girl…”
Gabi smiled, loving this for her girl. At least one of them was getting some dick they could brag about. “What’s his name?”
“Heavy.”
Gabi blinked. Then blinked again, eyebrows lifted in amusement. “Heavy is certainly a name.”
They burst out laughing. “I knew you were going to say that.”
“Because what does that even mean?” Gabi asked, brows now furrowed.
“I don’t know.”
