The breath is knocked from my lungs as my back hits the mattress. Before I can even suck down another, Raiden’s there, taking possession of my mouth and pressing me into the bed. With every kiss, every touch, Raiden consumes me thoroughly and completely, until I can’t even breathe without him.

“Delicious,” he murmurs against my lips. “No matter how many times I kiss you, it’s never going to be enough.”

The bed dips, and Raiden’s face is pushed away, replaced with a nearly feral Kodiak. “Share.” His lips are on mine in the next heartbeat, hard and demanding. The piercings studding a line down his tongue send a shiver down my spine, heat building in my core until I reluctantly tear my mouth from his.

“I bought out half of Carina’s store. It’d be a waste not to take advantage of it.”

Raiden groans, “Don’t talk about my sister right now.”

Hovering over me, Kodi grins. “No, please, keep up the good work. Scare him away so I can have you all to myself for a while.”

A hand wraps around my ankle, tugging me right out from beneath him. Stone grabs me before I fall off the bed with a smirk, leading me over to all of the bags shoved against the wall I’d yet to put away.

“Ignore them, angel. Pick out whatever you want, and I’ll lock them in the hallway while we test them out.”

Hiding a smile as they give each other a hard time, I start sifting through the massive haul of sex toys. Half of this stuff I’m not even sure how to use, and several things I don’t remember grabbing, so I assume Carina slipped them in. My fingers still on a leather strap, and I tentatively pull it free, heart pounding in my chest.

The harness is a series of tan straps and gold rings made to latch around someone’s thighs and waist, leaving access to everything while still being decorative. What gives me pause are the wrist cuffs that can be clipped to any of the rings. The design makes it impossible for the wearer to free themselves, leaving them completely at the mercy of their partner, or partners.

Impossible for a human, but not a dragon. If I really needed to, I could shift and snap them.

Taking a steadying breath, I grab it along with a wireless wand style vibrator. Returning to the bed, I toss them on the mattress. As soon as they see what I’ve picked out, all three of them instantly stop their bantering.

Stone frowns, studying me carefully. “Are you sure?”

I take a second to really consider it. But while I have a flutter of nerves, it’s not the bad variety. Gaze bouncing between the three of them, I say with complete conviction, “I trust you.”

Three heated gazes rake over me like a physical caress, and a shiver snakes down my spine. Swallowing, I slowly strip out of my clothes, their attention locked on every movement with predatory intent. Down to my underwear, I grab the harness and let it dangle from one finger.

“Who wants to do the honors?”

I’m not sure what I expected. Maybe for them to shove each other out of the way to be first, or refuse in case I freaked out on them. But it definitely wasn’t for them to work together like they’d silently orchestrated it.

Eyes locked on me, they close the distance between us, surrounding me as the tension in the room builds with every passing second. Raiden and Stone each hook a finger in the waistband of my underwear, tugging sharply to snap the elastic and rip them off. The tattered scrap of fabric falls to the floor as Kodi’s palm slides up my back, deftly unhooking my bra with a flick of his wrist.

“So fucking perfect,” he purrs against my shoulder, kissing up the side of my neck as he slides my bra straps down and tosses it aside.

Stone crouches at my feet, helping me step into the harness and carefully dragging it up my legs. “I’m not sure what I did to get blessed with a mate, but I’m damn well going to do everything in my power to make sure you’re as happy as you’ve made me.”

The largest ring settles against my lower back, the cool metal warming quickly against my skin. Smaller rings follow the straps around my thighs right under my ass, leaving nothing to the imagination.

Raiden takes my hand in his, lifting it to his lips to brush a kiss across my knuckles. “You don’t have to prove anything, you know.”

“Not to you, maybe, but to myself. I need this, need you to push me out of my comfort zone and show me that it’s safe to fall apart, because you’ll be there to protect the pieces.”

Smoky grey eyes bore into mine, leaving me flayed open. Exposed. But still, I refuse to look away.

No more hiding. Not from them.

“If it gets to be too much, you tell us,” Raiden demands, leaving no room for objections. “You say ‘red light,’ we’ll free you immediately. No judgment.” Satisfied with my nod, his fingertips brush my pulse as he gently wraps the cuffs around my wrists. When I don’t react, he fastens them to the rings at my sides, searching my face for any sign of panic. “Doing alright?”

Testing the resistance, my heartbeat stutters when my arms barely move more than an inch. Before I spiral too far, I close my eyes and focus, grounding myself in the moment.

Fresh springs, crisp air, and sawdust.

A hint of smoke, like campfires in autumn.

The coppery tang of blood and metal.
