With a smirk, he stalks closer, gripping my hips and pulling me towards the edge of the bed. “Got to give you something to hold onto before you tear my hair out,” he chuckles, kissing the dip beside my hip bone. He wastes no time before diving back between my legs, thrusting in two fingers while sucking on my sensitive bundle of nerves, adding a third when I start panting.
“More, fuck, don’t,” I start mumbling unintelligibly before letting loose a steady stream of curses, hips lifting off the bed as I claw at the blanket.
I grab a handful of the comforter and use it to muffle my cries, riding his face to draw out my orgasm as long as possible. By the time my hips stop rocking I’m a soaking wet mess, needy and desperate for more. Kaiden’s pupils are blown, the pheromones I’m giving off going to both of his heads. It doesn’t matter how much they’ve been building up a tolerance to them, some days are harder than others.
He groans, tilting his head towards the ceiling. “Fuck, Saige.”
“A great plan, really,” I tease breathlessly and he smacks my thigh, rising to his feet and bending over to hover above me, kissing a path from my collar to jaw.
“Tell me to stop,” he murmurs against my skin and I shiver with need.
Keeping my mouth firmly shut, only silence meets him and he curses, recapturing my mouth with a vengeance. Reaching between us, he flicks open the button of his jeans, dragging down the zipper as I use my heel to help push them down.
“Worse than a couple of dogs in heat,” Kahl chastises a split second before water spritzes over my face, leaving me sputtering.
He turns the water bottle on his brother next and he steps back, swearing. “Damn it to Hell. Fuck you, Kahl.” Kaiden swipes the water from his face as I push up to lean on my forearms.
“No fucking anybody,” Kahl counters, rolling his eyes in annoyance. A thrill snakes through my legs despite his words as he leans over me, only for that excitement to turn into a yip of surprise as he throws me over his shoulder, turning abruptly to walk out of the room. “You can sleep with me and Kins the rest of the night since you two obviously need time apart to cool down, and if there’s two of us, it’ll be easier to keep each other in check.”
It’s impossible to ignore the way he grips the back of my thighs, my traitorous hormones not understanding they’re barking up the wrong tree with this one.
“Your punishments feel an awful lot like rewards, just so you know. Yes, please sandwich me between a pair of sexy dragons. I’m much more likely to behave.”
His chest rumbles, from repressed desire or annoyance, I’m not completely sure. “Change of plans, Kaid can wake him up. Cold shower for you.”
My dragon starts pacing and snarling, attempting to convince me to bolt before the sudden splash of freezing water puts her out of commission and steals the fight out of us. Groaning, I don’t fight him though, knowing we were playing with fire and would have gone too far if he didn’t intervene.
“At this rate, we’re going to have to take a day off of filling commissions to forge a damn chastity belt,” Kahl jokes, though his voice is strained as his fingers tighten on my skin to the point they’ll likely leave tiny bruises.
“This sucks,” I sigh, thumping my head on his back. “Maybe Kins can get together with Soren and Yri to make some damn birth control so we can all be put out of our misery.”
Kahl sets me on my feet, keeping a hand on my elbow as I wobble from the head rush. “Not a bad idea, actually. I’ll talk to them.” Eyes widening optimistically, I lose my chance to bolt in my distraction as he flips the shower on.
Gesturing for me to walk headfirst to my doom, he commands, “In you go.”
“I changed my mind, I’ll be good,” I plead, the chill coming off of the water making me shiver from here.
Kahl drops his hand from my elbow to make it infinitesimally less arctic and I bolt. I’m just reaching for the doorknob when an arm bands around my stomach and drags me back.
“Fates, it’s like baptizing a cat,” he grunts, hauling me with him. Stepping right into the shower fully dressed, he forces us both under the spray and I jump at the shock from the first blast of water.
Scowling, I flinch away from the water and into him, but even his body heat isn’t enough to combat Jack Frost nipping at my nips. “I mean this with nothing short of love, but I’ve got to side with Kaiden on this one. Fuck you, Kahl.”
Chuckling, he tests the waters by slackening his grip, but at this point, we both know my energy went right down the drain. “Feeling better?”
“Not even close,” I scoff and he snorts.
“Thinking clearer, I mean. Ready to go crawl back in bed without humping the pillows?” He reaches over to turn the water off as I step out. Shedding his clothes in the tub, they fall with a heavy, wet smack as he reaches for a towel.
“Now you’re just being mean,” I point out, fumbling my way out of my shirt to toss it at him and dry off, shivers rocking my body.
“But that means it worked, since you’re still over there.” With a wink, he tucks the towel at his waist while I head for the door to find some clothes.
Flipping him off, I pass Kaiden’s open door in favor of Kahl’s room where Kinsley’s already half asleep on the bed. “Or maybe she just likes us better,” he groggily teases, lifting one arm and gesturing for me to climb in with him.
Quickly stealing a shirt and a pair of boxers from Kahl’s dresser, I crawl in, curling up against him and sighing as my frigid limbs start to thaw. Kahl joins us a minute later, sliding in on my free side and keeping his distance, his brother’s words planting a seed of doubt in his mind.
So reluctantly, I roll over, pressing my frozen nose into his collar. “Nah, I don’t play favorites. And no one would willingly jump into an ice shower this time of year if it wasn’t for a good reason. Thanks for being a buzzkill, Kahl.”
