I showered and brushed my teeth before getting dressed in some black, Jordan basketball shorts, a plain gray t-shirt, and matching Jordan 4’s. I still had almost three hours until we were leaving, but I packed my shit back into my suitcase so it’d be ready after I finished eating and bullshitting. The only people down at the restaurant-styled dining area were AJ, his wife Janessa, Maagic, and Gabby’s ass. They were all sitting together looking hung over as fuck, but as soon as she saw me, Maagicgave me a knowing look over the rim of her sunglasses and smirked.

“Look who we have here. I heard about your lil’ show you put on. Why y’all waited till I left to get on some BET After Dark shit? Y’all always treating me like a kid.”

I mushed her head lightly once I reached the table. “That’s ’cause your assisa kid and you need to stay in a kid’s place. And what the fuck you know about BET After Dark anyway?” I mugged her, ignoring Gabby’s attention-seeking ass huffing and puffing next to me.

“Please, who don’t know about it? You’re talking like I’m ten or something. This wasn’t even about me, it’s about you getting all freaky with Keyani.”

“Maaaan, don’t even worry about all that.” I couldn’t help grinning at the mention of shorty’s name, and AJ immediately peeped it.

“Aaaah, look at this nigga blushin’ and shit! Let me find out?—”

“Ugh, I wish y’all would stop being all loud and shit, my head already pounding!” Gabby winced from the sound of her own voice.

“Take your ass somewhere and lay down then. Ain’t nobody told you to sit with us,” AJ scowled, putting her in her place before I could, and I was glad when she let out an annoyed grunt as she left the table.

“She really gets on my last nerve,” Maagic complained as I dropped into Gabby’s empty seat and plucked a piece of bacon from Maagic’s plate. “Hey! Get your own food, nigga!”

“Shut up!” I reached for another, and she slapped my hand with her greedy ass. Shrugging, I waved over a waiter so I could order my own shit. I hadn’t realized how hungry I was until right then, and after I ordered enough food for two, I sent his ass on his way. “Keyani been down here yet?” I tried to sound discreetlike I was just making light conversation, but a hush fell over the table, and their eyes all shot to me before they burst out laughing.

“This nigga here.”

“Thirsty ass!” Maagic snickered.

“Man, y’all trippin’, I just asked a question, shit. Much as y’all talkin’ ’bout her, it had me wondering,” I snorted, lying through my fucking teeth. Truthfully, she’d been on my mind since she’d left my room that morning, but I wasn’t about to tell them that shit. The only one acting like they had any sense was Janessa, and I appreciated that.

“Leave him alone, y’all,” she chastised, nudging AJ’s funny-looking ass. She rolled her eyes playfully before turning to me. “She was leaving with the kids when we came down ’cause she’s flying out with the parents. They’re probably already headed to the airport by now.” Janessa gave me a sympathetic look as I tried to keep my expression neutral. I was definitely a little irritated that Keyani tried to be on some sneaky shit, but it was cool because I knew where she lived, and she was going to be one of my first stops when I touched back down.

Unlike what I’d said, I took my ass home when my flight landed. I was tired as hell, so I figured Keyani and the kids were too, since they’d only landed a couple of hours before I did. I decided I’d give her a day to get settled in before I went and let her know that I wasn’t playing with her. Plus, I needed to check on my business and connect with my uncle anyway.

I felt like I’d barely closed my eyes when my security system alerted me that somebody was on my porch right before whoever it was started ringing my bell like they wanted to die. When Ipulled up the camera on my phone, I saw Raven’s ass standing there looking stupid as hell, and I instantly regretted not going home. My little kick-it spot was closer to the airport and ducked off, so I stopped there, thinking I wouldn’t be bothered, but obviously not. I saw her lips moving and cut on the sound to hear what she was saying.

“You got me fucked up! You got bitches comin’ to my job now? That’s what we doin’! Open up this door Cruz, I know your Drake lookin’ ass home! Come out here and tell me who the fuck Raya is! I swear I’m gone fuck both y’all up!”

I let my eyes fall back closed as I listened to her ranting unmoved, but once she said that Drake shit, I got up. She knew damn well I ain’t look shit like that nigga and she was just trying to throw shots. I was going to head down there and treat her ass anyway, but the second she mentioned Raya, I rushed downstairs. I reached the door just as she was about to smash my doorbell for the millionth time, swinging it open and surprising her.

“Oooh, nigga, I knew you was in there! Who the fuck is Raya?” she recovered quickly, rolling her neck and pointing a long acrylic in my face.

“Aye, shut yo’ ass up,” I grumbled, yanking her inside, and she snatched away as soon as the door shut behind us.

“Don’t tell me to shut up! That crazy bitch said she was going to kill me if I came anywhere near you! She had a whole fuckin’ gun and two big beefy ass niggas with her!” Raven looked shook for as much shit as she was just talking on my porch. She hugged herself and looked around furtively, like Raya was about to pop out from around the corner.

“And you still brought your ass over here?” My forehead scrunched at her logic because that shit didn’t make no sense to me. She glared at me and sucked her teeth like I was getting on her nerves or some shit.

“Hell yeah! She’s obviously one of your lil’ hoes! You better talk to her or something!” she screeched, flailing her arms wildly. She thought she was slick, trying to fish for information, but I dodged that shit and asked a question of my own.

“She said she was my bitch?” It was still hard to comprehend that Raya even knew any of the bitches I was fucking. I knew she was crazy, but on some stalking shit, not harassing my bitches type of crazy. Plus, she had a husband who should’ve been requiring all her attention, but she was out here threatening people on my account. That was probably the reason she hadn’t bothered me the whole time I was out in Fiji because she was too busy fucking with my roster.

“Obviously! She made it perfectly clear that you’re her man and she doesn’t like sharing dick. That’s fucked up, Cruz. How am I getting my life threatened by somebody you’re fuckin’ and you don’t even care?” Raven whined, crossing her arms childishly. Little did she know I gave less of a fuck about Raya’s dick dizzy ass harassing her and was more worried about how she knew about her in the first place.

Jet lag and being woken up to drama had my brain foggy as fuck, and it didn’t help that Raven was in here yelling and shit. “Look, I’ll handle it.” That was all I could muster up at the moment, and her face contorted.

“Nigga, did you hear me? That bitch said she’d kill me!”

“And you still did the exact opposite of what she told you and brought your ass over here, so the dick must be worth dying for,” I shot back, getting annoyed. “I said I’d handle it, man. Take your ass home.” She narrowed her eyes at me, but finally stalked out, and I locked the door behind her. I quickly went to unblock Raya’s ass as I made my way back upstairs, and she answered right away like she’d been waiting for my call.

“Hey, Papi?—”

“Yo, Raya, what the fuck wrong with you?” I quizzed, reaching my bedroom, only for her to cackle in my ear.
