There was no waiting, he lifted her hips off the bed and slid right inside her, her head going back on the pillow, a moan escaping.

She would never tire of the feeling of him inside her body.

He set the pace, sliding all the way out to the tip, then pushing back in. She could stay like this all day and take what he was giving her, but her body had other ideas.

The nerves inside her were getting worked up again and wanted to be released. He’d told her she could talk if it was the words he suggested so why not?

“That’s it. Faster,” she said. “Harder too. Just don’t stop.”

“I don’t plan on it until you yell loud enough that your neighbors can hear you.”

She’d never thought of that before and secretly hoped she could pull it off. Or he could pull it out of her.

“Then make me scream.”

“Cross your ankles behind my back,” he said.

His hands went to her ass cheeks, spreading her apart as if all her nerve endings were being exposed, cranking the dial hard right.

“Harder!” Oh my God. If this is what it felt like to come undone, he was doing his part!

His hips were almost jerking at this point too. “Are you there?” he asked.

“Yes,” she screamed, her whole body tensing, his following, then he grunted and collapsed on her with a thunk.

“Are you okay?” he asked a minute later.

“Yes. I think so. How about you?”

“Just exhausted. I thought I was in better shape than that.”

Her hand was trailing down his back, over his shoulder, across his arm. She’d never get enough of the muscles on his body.

“You’re in pretty great shape,” she said. “Better than me.”

“You held your own.”

“Did I blow out your eardrums? I’m pretty sure my neighbor might have heard me.”

“My ears are fine, just like the rest of me,” he murmured.

She wasn’t sure what he meant by that and figured maybe she didn’t want to know.

At least this ending was better than the last time they were in this position.

BIG STEP

“You’re nervous,” Carly said the following Sunday.

“You think?”

“There is no reason to be. Jonah is excited. He’s been talking about it.”

“He has?”

Last Saturday, when he got out of work, he told Carly about Molly.
