I shed my clothes and checked the hidden compartment in my suitcase to ensure the papers I stole from Gregory Banks were still there. Lexi had a curious streak, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she dug through them.

Of course, the secrets in those papers intrigued me. Stan would never know if I read them...

As my fingers brushed the envelope, Lexi stirred and turned on her side, the covers sliding to her waist. A burst of hot electricity hit my gut as her nipples peaked through the thin tanktop. Lexi knew she turned me all the fucking way on, but she had no idea how much power she actually held.

If she wielded it, she could have me on my knees in seconds.

I shoved the papers back into their hidden spot, crossed the room in a few strides, and peeled back the blankets. My erection pushed at my boxers, begging to be freed as I slipped into the bed. Lexi’s addictive vanilla scent swirled into my brain, further intoxicating me.

She shifted onto her back again, the tank top doing a terrible job of covering her. One gentle tug and her tits would spill out.

My pulse raced as I slowly slid my hand up her ribs, her heart pounding against my palm. She arched her back and her mouth parted.

“Killian.”

My softly murmured name nearly undid me.

Well, that was definitely an invitation...

I cupped one of her breasts, circling my thumb over her hardened nipple through the shirt. Lexi’s moan had my dick throbbing. Her eyelids fluttered open, and those hypnotic blue irises focused on me.

Lust swirled in them, and her breaths quickened—until reality set in and fury rippled out of her.

“What the hell, Kill!” She jabbed her elbow into my chest with a hollow thump, hurting her more than me.

A devilish grin split my lips. “You were enjoying it a second ago.”

She whipped long auburn strands from her face. “I was asleep!”

“You sure about that?” I brushed my lips over her jaw. “You called out my name, so I assumed you wanted me to continue.”

Her throat bobbed as she swallowed hard. “Why are you even here? You promised to get another room if I went to that party.”

I shrugged. “They’re all booked. Sorry.”

“You are such a liar!” Lexi circled her hand in the air. “We’re practically the only ones here.”

“I don’t know what to tell you, Red.” I brushed a lock of hair back, tucking it behind her ear, my fingers lingering on the fluttering pulse point in her neck. “Maria said there aren’t any current vacancies. You’re stuck with me.”

Her mouth formed the cutest little pout, and with one more narrowed glare, she turned on her side, scooted farther away, and yanked the covers up to her chin. “Keep your hands to yourself, Killian.”

My leg slid across the bed, wrapped around her thighs, and dragged her against me again.

“Hey!”

“You said hands.” I chuckled at her enraged expression as she looked over her shoulder at me. “My hands aren’t touching you.”

Lexi sat up and ripped the covers off. “I’ll sleep on the hammock outside.”

Done playing nice, I pressed my arm against her torso and yanked her down. “You’re not going anywhere, Red.”

She struggled against me. “I will knock your teeth out if you don’t let me go.”

“I’ll just buy new ones.” My hand skimmed up her chest and coiled around her throat, my fingers applying light pressure. Lexi finally stilled. “Stop fighting this. I know you want me. Every time I touch you, your pussy practically drips for me.”

Flames crawled into her face. “That’s just my body’s natural reaction to stimuli. You have nothing to do with it.”

I thrust against her, rubbing my obvious erection into her ass. “Do you thinkthat’sjust a response to stimuli too?”
