“Surprise? What kind of surprise?” My eyes narrow slightly because with Ollie, you never know what you’re going to get. Especially with her history of hare-brained schemes.

But then she fucking tells me and I don’t think I’ve ever moved so fast in my life.

Theo

Ifinish the lastnotes of the song and place my ukulele down into my lap. A few people groan and ask for another, but I wave them off. “My voice needs a break,” I tell them before knocking back a mouthful of whisky, savouring the burn as it trickles down my throat.

Across the bonfire, Rachel and Simon are still going back and forth about the infamous zombie cat and Simon’s legendary scream. It’s a story I’ve heard before, since Rachellovestelling it, mostly because it annoys the fuck out of Simon. Their friendship reminds me of the ones I have with Rhys and Alex, and I can’t help but grin at their antics.

Speaking of which…

Glancing over, my eyebrows shoot upward and my blood heats at the sight of Alex devouring Ollie’s mouth while Rhys sits on her other side. Well, well, well. This party just got interesting.

I get up and move closer to the action just as the two part, panting and flushed. Alex says something about them needing to stop, but I don’t pay attention to that because of what Ollie says next.

“We could. Or we could take this somewhere else,” she says, a slight purr to her voice that has me licking my lips in anticipation. And then she leans in and says something to Alex that has his eyes narrowing.

“Surprise? What kind of surprise?”

She says something else, something that has him looking shocked for a moment.

I’m desperate to know what she said, but before I can ask, Alex is jumping to his feet and hauling Ollie into his arms. “You two, let’s go,”he barks, before turning and striding away from the bonfire and into the dark forest.

Rhys and I exchange surprised looks before we scramble to follow, much to the amused cheering of a few of our friends.

I half-expect Alex to head to our cabin on the other side of Haven, but he doesn’t. Instead, he heads towards the wall and pins Ollie against it before devouring her lips in an almost feral kiss. Ollie moans into his mouth, the sound going straight to my balls even though I’m not the one touching her.

“Shouldn’t we be going back to the cabin?” Rhys asks with an arched brow.

“Too far,” Alex says as he tears his lips from Ollie’s and kisses down her neck. “Are you going to tell Theo and Rhys the surprise, or are you going to show them?”

“You have a surprise for us, princess?” Rhys asks as he moves to her side and grabs her chin to turn her head towards him.

She looks stunning. Her eyes are glazed and smouldering with heat, her cheeks are flushed, and her lips are swollen from Alex’s kisses. “I do,” she says in a husky voice. “But I want to show it to you since I’ve already ruined the surprise with Alex.”

“Not ruined,” Alex groans into her neck, sounding almost pained. “Definitelynot ruined.”

Well, now Ireallywant to know.

“Show us,” Rhys demands, releasing Ollie’s chin.

Alex sighs and deposits her back onto her feet before stepping back to give her space. I sidle up next to him, my cock hard as excitement and arousal bubble inside me. Ollie glances between us, her pink tongue darting out to lick her lips as she runs a heated gaze over us.

“You know, I’m not sure if I should show you,” she says, leaning back against the wall and crossing her arms over her chest. “You didn’t even ask nicely.”

“Ollie,” Rhys warns.

Ah, it seems the brat has come out to play. I’m not surprised since she loves nothing more than to push Rhys’s buttons. But what I don’t expect is Alex’s reaction.

“If you don’t show us, I’ll hold you down and strip you until you do,” Alex threatens as he steps menacingly towards her. “Don’t think I won’t do it.”

Well shit. Whatever this ismustbe good.

Ollie’s mouth pops open and her eyes widen as she stares at the big guy in shock. But then heat fills her gaze, and the defiance from earlier is back. Ollie is going full brat mode, probably because she’s aroused as hell by Alex’s threat.

“Or I could tell Rhys and Theo and ruin the surprise,” Alex says, cutting her off before she can say something that would get her into even more trouble.

That takes the wind out of her sails, and she deflates.
