I cross my arms over my chest. “I don’t want to.”
“What has my grumpy alpha pouting?” Prescott asks, bouncing across the room to join us. “I finally got Luna to stop being such a grump, and now I have to deal with this?”
I shake my head, a grin spreading across my lips. “You’re a mess, little beta.”
“Yeah, sure. I’m the problem.” He rolls his eyes at Christian. “Can you believe this guy?”
“Don’t pull me into your drama, man. We were just over here, minding our own business while we avoided talking to anyone. You’re the one who came prancing over here all bubbly and shit.” A grin splits Christian's lips. “Fuck, you really are way too much happiness in one package.”
He shakes his head. “I am not too much—I’m just enough.”
“Damn straight you are, little beta.” I grab his shirt and tug him between my legs so I can kiss him.
We break apart at the sound of catcalls, and I’m about to give someone a piece of my mind when I realize it has nothing to do with us.
Knight has Luna pinned against the wall as they kiss.
Ven stalks across the room, growling under his breath. I can’t hear what he’s saying, but I can imagine.
He leans in to whisper something into Knight’s ear, and our omega pulls back with a grin. I expect Ven to drag them from the room, but color me surprised when he leans in to kiss Knight and then Luna.
“That was unexpected.” Prescott laughs as he throws his arm around my shoulders and brushes his lips against mine. “I think Ven is hoping he can scare them all off with some heavy PDA.”
“I don’t think it’s working,” Christian says drolly as another round of catcalls sound out.
I shake my head. “I don’t think anyone is planning to leave for a while.”
“Of course they’re not. They were worried about Luna—about all of us, really. They need time with us to see that we’re all okay. But especially with Luna. They’ve all been through so much together. They share a bond we can never understand, but we have to support it, Mack. There’s not much that will piss off Luna, but trying to pull her away from her sisters? She might kill anyone who tries to.”
“Uh, that’s not what any of us want.” I sigh, resting my head on his shoulder.
We watch as the other widows pull Luna away from our mates, dragging her to the area they cleared to make a dance floor of sorts.
I shake my head as Luna throws her head from side to side with her arms in the air.
“They share a bond no one can break. It’s clear to see.” Christian’s voice is quiet as we watch the six of them laugh together.
I think this is the freest I’ve ever seen Luna as she just lets go.
“Only an idiot would try to get between them, and while we might be stubborn and a little thick-headed from time to time, no one in this pack is stupid.” I grin. “Plus, we can’t fault our girl for wanting friendship outside of the men who regularly just want to fuck her.”
That pulls a startled laugh from Prescott. “You’re probably right, Mack.”
The three of us fall silent as we watch the women enjoying themselves, Knight and Ven eventually joining us.
A glance around the room tells me the others want to be close to their omegas just as much as we want to be near ours, but we all allow them this time.
It’s not just our pack bonds that are strengthening, but the bonds of sisterhood.

Luna
A Little Over a Year Later
Settling into my chair, hugging Isabella closer to me. She blinks her pretty hazel eyes as she coos up at me.
“Are you hogging our daughter again, baby girl?” Ven drops into the seat at my side with a grin.
