Nico hummed softly, but he didn’t stop sucking Stone’s fingers. His eyes glittered, his coiled muscles loosened. Oh, yeah. He was turned on by the picture Stone painted.
“I’m not sure you can handle me, though. Rough and dirty are the only way I know how to fuck. Ain’t that right, Stevie?”
“Yes,” she said, her voice trembling.
Nico’s eyes darted left toward Stevie, but Stone held him in place, making it impossible for him to turn his head.
“My girl likes rough and dirty,” Stone told him. “ What about you? You wanna try rough and dirty, Nico?”
There was a brief hesitation, but then his surrender was complete. This time, Nico’s nod was clear as day.
“Say it.” He pulled his fingers out of Nico’s mouth so he could respond. “Tell me how you want it.”
His dark blue eyes flashed with definite heat. “Rough. And dirty.”
Stone leaned in, his lips lightly brushing Nico’s. “Good. Because that’s what you’re gonna get.”

Stevie had come outside to check onStone. Not because she’d sensed Stone’s fury when he bounded off the couch, although that was true. Not because she’d heard raised voices, although that was also true. And not because she feared they would throw down in the front yard, although thatdefinitelywas true.
No, she’d come outside because it was that or potentially end up becoming Chelsea’s sounding board. While she had nothing against Stone’s sister, Stevie wasn’t interested in hearing her talk shit about Nico. She’d heard more than her share during her previous visits to the Jamesons’ home and a couple of times in the cafeteria at school. Evidently, when you were dating Chelsea’s brother, you were automatically dropped into the bucket labeled:likes to listen to Chelsea rant.
Again, Stevie had nothing against the girl, but it wasn’t easy pretending she was okay when Chelsea berated her best friend’s brother.
So, yeah, she’d slipped outside before that could happen.
When she didn’t find Stone in the front yard, she headed for the side of the house. She heard voices, so she moved toward them.
The first thing she noticed was the stuff strode over the ground—a teddy bear, a jacket, something gold that glittered as she passed. As soon as she rounded the end of Nico’s truck, she came to an abrupt halt. She was expecting to see confrontation, but she didn’t anticipate finding Stone pressed against Nico, a firestorm of electricity pulsing in the air around them.
More than that, she didn’t expect the reaction she had to seeing them like that. Especially not the reaction she had when she realized they weren’t fighting but rather … well, she wasn’t surewhatthey were doing, but she recognized sexual dominance on Stone’s face when she saw it. It was something she would likely see in all her fantasies for the foreseeable future.
Was she surprised Stone was directing all that heat and energy at Nico? No. She knew Stone was bisexual. His reputation preceded him. As soon as word got out that she was dating Stone Jameson, she’d been inundated with warnings.
Stone has no experience being someone’s boyfriend.
Stone doesn’t know the meaning of monogamy.
Stone likes playing the field too much.
Stone prefers guys to girls.
Stone prefers girls to guys.
Stone prefers both at the same time.
Stone prefers orgies in the gym.
Okay, so the last one was definitely bullshit because her best friend Niyah was the one who used the retort when someone else was going on about what a horrible choice Stone Jameson would be for any girl. Niyah always had her back.
As for the rest… It was endless the amount of crap people spewed in this town, but she’d grown up here, so she expected it. Because of that, she’d taken it all in stride, choosing to use Stone’s actions as a guide rather than all the bullshit people said. And yeah, being the type who wanted to know the truth, she’d confronted him about it. Namely, the part about him preferring guys to girls. Stone hadn’t been offended by her curiosity. In fact, they’d talked about it at length which had helped her understand. To a degree. According to him, it wasn’t a switch he flipped. He was attracted topeople, not necessarily gender. He didn’t crave one over the other.
And yes, she might’ve pushed the issue a time or two when they were intimate because Stone Jameson turned her on like no one else. When it came to dirty talk, Stone knew just the right words to say and the right scenes to set to get her engine revving. The first time he mentioned bringing another guy into the mix, she’d gone up in flames. She’d even added it to her bucket list, and she’d told him as much.
But that had been foreplay. That had been a way to fan the flames.
This… this was on a whole other level. Not once had Stevie considered that it might one day become a reality. It was sex talk. People said shit in the heat of the moment, right? She damn sure hadn’t expected how hot it would be to witness an intimate moment between two guys. Theideaof it was one thing, but no one told her how this scenario might make her break into a sweat.
