“Sounds like I might need it,” she teased.

Oh, if she only knew.

Three hours later, Elijah returned to the house to find Sam was still in bed, and Logan was laid out in his recliner, remote in hand.

“Need help with the groceries?” Logan asked.

“I got it,” he told him, setting two of the bags on the counter before heading back to his car for the rest.

When he returned, Logan was in the kitchen, unloading the bags and putting things away.

“I figured you might want to wake her up. Maybe we could hang out in the pool for an hour or so before dinner.”

“I’ll see what she wants to do,” he said, trying his damnedest not to think about what had happened the last time they were in the pool.

Elijah left Logan to put away the groceries and headed to their bedroom. He opened the door quietly, stepped inside, and shut it behind him. The blackout curtains blocked out most of the late-afternoon sun, but there was enough for him to see Sam in the middle of the bed, curled up on her side, clutching a pillow. He eased onto his side of the bed, spooning behind her. He roused her slowly, playing with her hair because he knew how much she loved that.

“Mmm,” she mumbled, rolling to her back and smiling at him. “I missed you.”

He pressed a kiss to her shoulder, slid his hand beneath her T-shirt, and rested it on the smooth, warm skin of her stomach. “Likewise.”

They remained like that for a few minutes as she came awake fully.

“Logan told me what happened between you.”

“I know.”

“Is that why you were avoiding my calls?”

Elijah stared down at her. “I answered every one of your calls. I just avoided your questions.”

She canted her head back, one of her adorable frowns pinching her features. “Are you upset with me?”

He searched her gaze, wondering what would’ve sparked that question. “Of course not.”

Sam rolled toward him, her hands moving beneath his T-shirt. He groaned softly, not sure he’d be able to resist her if she kept that up. He was hard as stone, his body seeking a release that had been building for days now despite the fact he’d jacked off this morning right beside Logan. But he knew Logan’s suggestion that they get in the pool had been more of a directive than a request. The man wasn’t subtle when he wanted something, and Elijah knew him well. He wanted to watch Elijah and Sam together, and truthfully, Elijah needed that right now.

“Was it as good as the first time?” Sam whispered against his neck. “When Logan kissed you?”

“It was.” He saw no reason to lie to her.

“Logan said it was better.”

That made him smile. She was good for his ego, always had been. Sam seemed to know exactly what they both needed to hear from her.

Her voice took on that sexy rasp when she said, “What about when he stroked your cock?”

His cock jerked, hardening even more although he’d thought it impossible.

“I wish I could’ve watched. I want to see you touching each other.”

Elijah cupped her ass, jerked her to him so she could feel the hard ridge of his cock against her thigh.

“Did you think about me?” she whispered.

“Always, love.”

“Did you want me to watch?”
