“If it’s all the same to you, I’d like to go back to the Monolith,” Emily said, glancing between us. “Maybe get some room service.”

It was then I saw the same hunger glittering in her eyes as well.

Vegas certainly was a magical place.

As I said, the glitz of LasVegas was magical. I could understand why so many people came here. Whether it was to see the sights or to take a risk with their money at the tables or slot machines, there was certainly an appeal.

For me, it wasn’t so much the gambling, but the underlying hum of the city without the hustle and bustle you found in New York. There was a slower pace here, but I figured that had to do with the vacationers who weren’t rushing from one place to another. I definitely preferred New York overall, but I could be happy here from time to time.

After dinner, I shot a quick text to Emmett, letting him know I was excited for his arrival in the morning. I’d spent the weekend doing nothing, and I was eager to get back to work. There was a lot to be done before the grand opening of both the resort and Delta June’s. I knew Kieran and Knox were inundated with issues related to the casino and hotel, while I was solely focused on the auction house.

“What are you doing out here?” Knox’s voice came from behind me from inside the room.

I’d stepped out onto the balcony, enjoying the evening breeze and the lights of the Strip.

“Wondering when you were going to come find me,” I teased, turning to face him.

“I’m here,” he said, his voice low and gruff, a sparkle in his green eyes.

It might’ve been my imagination, but I could’ve sworn the sexual tension had been rising one degree at a time since we’d arrived in Vegas a couple of days ago. And while I’d enjoyed both of them separately, there’d been too many interruptions to allow the three of us much time together.

“You’re here,” I agreed, planting my hand on his chest as he eliminated the space between us.

“Have you enjoyed yourself this weekend?”

“A little, I guess.”

His eyes narrowed as though reading my expression to see if I was serious.

I smiled, ensuring he knew it was another tease. “I can think of a way to make it more enjoyable?”

“Can you?”

I nodded.

“Does it involve you naked?”

I nodded again.

His voice lowered as his mouth moved closer to mine. “Naked and crushed between us?”

A shiver danced down my spine at the thought of having their hard bodies pressed to mine. “Very much so.”

Rather than kiss me, Knox pulled back at the last second, teasing me the same way I’d teased him with words.

“That’s not fair,” I declared, allowing him to take my hand and drag me back inside.

Knox didn’t bother closing the door, and I got the feeling his urgency was more critical. I laughed, hurrying behind him. He dragged me into the bedroom, turned and grabbed me. He tossed me onto the bed, coming down over me, his mouth instantly on mine.

All amusement vanished, replaced by a white-hot need that made my temperature rise, and my heart beat faster.

Because he wasn’t moving fast enough to suit me, I helped Knox along by tugging his shirt up. The kiss broke long enough for me to drag it over his head. When I went to pull my shirt off, Knox stilled my hands, lifting up so that he was kneeling, those beautiful green eyes full of wicked intent as he peered down at me.

“In a hurry?”
