I realized there was so much I didn’t know about them. For instance, I didn’t know where they lived. Sure, they both probably had residences in a number of large cities, but I hadn’t seen any of them.

“Do either of you have a house here? Or a condo?” I waved a hand. “Or whatever it is you buy here.”

“There’s a four-bedroom penthouse that we use when we visit,” Kieran supplied.

I glanced between them, wondering if that use ofwemeant they traveled together often. I still hadn’t been able to figure out the true nature of their relationship. Clearly, they were friends. That was obvious based on the time I’d spent with them. They were comfortable around one another. Comfortable enough to have sex with the same woman.

I felt my face flush as I remembered what had happened on the plane. I’d had sex with both of them. Eagerly, at that.

A soft growl drew my attention to Knox. He was still watching me, his green eyes glittering with what I could only describe as pure lust.

“I can have the restaurant cleared out if you’d like,” Knox said, his voice low, with the hint of danger and promise.

I realized then that he had picked up on the pornographic thoughts running through my head..

My first thought wasyes, please. However, I steeled my spine and lied through my teeth, “I think I’ve had enough exhibitionism for one day.”

There was no way I would be able to resist either of them if they pursued me right now. The embers of my lust continued to glow hot, which had been the case since the night I met Kieran. I wanted what they were offering me, and I wanted them to know it.

Kieran excused himself, then disappeared in the direction of the kitchen. I considered asking Knox where he was going, but I already suspected. My exhibitionist days were long from over; I could see the promise of it in Knox’s emerald eyes.

“You like to watch,” I stated. It wasn’t an accusation, nor was it a question—more of an observation.

One that Knox confirmed with a nod of his head.

“You like to watch me with Kieran,” I added, wanting the same confirmation.

“More than you know.” He set his glass down.

“Is this something y’all do often? Watch each other fuck women?”

“Don’t ask questions like that,” he said firmly. “It’s not something we’ll be discussing.”

His disregard for my curiosity pissed me off. “Why? It’s not like I thought you were a virgin before me.”

Knox regarded me closely but didn’t respond.

“I’m just curious,” I explained.

Knox leaned in. “Is that what you want, Em? For me to disclose my previous sexual encounters? Do you really want me to go into explicit detail about what I’ve done with a number of nameless, faceless women over the years?”

The aggressive way he spoke had my anger dissipating. He wasn’t saying he wouldn’t tell me. He was simply trying to protect me. I had to respect that.

“No.”

“Past is prologue, Em.”

Meaning that it had all led to this place, and the only thing that mattered was the future.

I wanted that to be true. As far as I was concerned, my past was ancient history. With each new day, I shed another layer of my old life, embracing the new, learning about who I was, what I wanted. I wasn’t sure the same could be said for Knox, but it was true for me.

I didn’t realize Kieran had returned until I felt his hands on my shoulders. The warmth of them had me leaning back, smiling. I liked the way he touched me. The reverence in it made me feel safe, cherished. While at the same time, the passion I could feel brewing inside him made me want things I’d only ever fantasized about.

Kieran pulled my hair back over my shoulders, his hands loosely curling around my throat, tilting my head back, so I was peering up at him as he leaned over me.

“We’re going to play with you right here, love,” he said, his tone matter-of-fact, made sexy because of the Irish lilt.

I didn’t respond, merely held his gaze, drawing in a ragged breath when his hands glided down my chest, his fingertips dipping beneath the V-line of my shirt.
