Pearl finished her drink in one swallow and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand.“I’m an independent woman, ladies, but I do come running when my sexy biker calls me.”

I burst out laughing.Pearl hopped off the bed and practically skipped from the room yelling, “Coming, babe!”

Prime looked exhausted.Shay stood next and smoothed down her shirt before Prime crooked two fingers at her.

“C’mere.”

She grinned immediately.

Yep, that was definitely her problem.

Shay did a little shimmy toward him while I gagged dramatically.“You two are disgusting.”

“Jealous,” Shay sang.

Prime wrapped an arm around her waist and started leading her down the hallway.

“Goodnight!”I called.

“Don’t do anything we wouldn’t do!”Shay shouted back.

“That leaves very little,” Prime muttered.

The hallway quieted after they disappeared.

I stared around the suddenly empty room for a second before sighing and started to clean up the glasses and chip bag.

The room swayed slightly when I stood.“Oh,” I muttered.“There’s the tequila.”I grabbed the empty pitcher carefully and turned toward the doorway.

Then froze because Push stood there watching me.My stomach immediately did a slow little flip.

He leaned one shoulder against the frame casually, but his eyes moved over me in a way that made my skin warm.

“How you feeling?”he asked.

“Amazing,” I answered.

“Liar.”

“Maybe a little margarita’d.”

His mouth twitched.

I stepped toward him carefully and almost tripped over absolutely nothing.

Push caught my arm instantly.“Smooth.”

“I’m mysterious.”

“You’re tipsy.”

“That too.”

His hand stayed on my arm longer than necessary, not that I minded.“So,” I said lightly, “how mad is Anchor?”

Push huffed a laugh.“Not mad enough that Pearl can’t handle him.”

I grinned.“We were just blowing off steam.”
