When Rykers finally finished, he switches positions with Brax, who pulls yet another orgasm from me. And when I think I can’t possibly come again, Indy comes in to work one final climax from my body. I can’t believe how many times I’ve come in the past twenty-four hours. It isn’t a surprise when the second Indy finishes, I pass out. Dead. Tired.

I don’t wake until the next morning when soft morning light streams through our window. I slowly open my eyes and look around to see Ryker snuggling one side of me and Indy on the other. Tilting my head. I see Brax wrapped around my lower legs, making me smile.

I can’t believe I get to keep these three men. They are so perfect and so special in their own ways. I wish I could explain tothem how much they truly mean to me. After losing my parents and my brother, I wasn’t really sure that I’d ever know what it was like to have a family again, but that’s what I felt we were building here, a family.

Maybe I could make them breakfast to show them my gratitude? They were always doing things for me and I hadn’t done a single thing for them. That wasn’t right, and the more I think about it, the more I get angry at myself. I need to do better, I need them to think that I’m so amazing that they’ll never want to leave me. The thought of losing any of them causes a pain to pulse in my chest.

Slowly, I worm my way out of the pile of bodies and throw on one of my casual dresses before exiting the room. I head downstairs to the tavern, but it must be early enough that it’s still closed, as there’s nobody here. Will Silver mind if I use the kitchen?

I’m still surprised when I think about the fact that Silver owns this place. The only reason I know is because Indy told me yesterday. I guess I hadn’t really thought about who owned it before. And it made sense since Silver was the one giving us rooms here. I just thought as he offered to come with us to the sea, that he didn’t have any ties here. I’m not sure why the thought of him having something to come back to makes me a little sad. I like Silver, shouldn’t I be happy he has a place to call home?

It doesn’t matter though, I’m a woman on a mission now, and I don’t think Silver would be too mad if I use his kitchen. I head around the bar to the doors our food always comes through and find an interesting looking space. It’s definitely not like a modern kitchen in the human world, but most of the stuff looks recognizable enough that I ought to be able to put something together.

After finding a basket of eggs, a slab of meat that looks a lot like bacon, and some bread, I think this shouldn’t be too hard at all.

Thirty minutes later, I was kicking myself for thinking thiswould be easy. I finally had the fire started, but I’d managed to cut my finger, drop two eggs, and burn four pieces of toast.

This kitchen was just like how I’d imagine a medieval one to be, with a hearth for cooking. I found a grill and laid it out over the fire. Then I located a couple of large frying pans.

At home, I would always heat them before putting food in them. So, I figure it would be the same when cooking on a fire. I place both frying pans on the grill and wait a couple of minutes until they’re hot. I find a couple of cloths to wrap around the handle so I don’t burn my hand as I pull them off and put them on the large table. I crack a bunch of eggs into one and lay the bacon in the other.

Grabbing the now cool handles, I bring them back to the fire and start to place them on the grill, but as soon as the weight of the pans hit it, the grill topples sideways. I lose my grip on the pans and they drop into the fire. The second the pan with the bacon falls, it starts spitting out large amounts of fat on my still outstretched arms.

“Ahhh!” I yell in pain, yanking my arms back to my chest and falling back onto my ass. I see a few sparks fly from the fire and one lands on the bottom of my dress. I quickly pat it out, and when I lift my hand and all that’s left is a tiny little black hole, I let out a breath of relief. But my relief is short-lived when the fire renews its attack, shooting more sparks and fat at me.

I scream, trying to crawl backwards as one of the sparks catches fire in the bottom of my dress again.

“Shit, Penny!” someone yells and suddenly a large towel is thrown over my legs, effectively snuffing out the fire.

Silver picks me up and moves me out of harm’s way to the other side of the room, placing me on the countertop. “Wait here,” he says before running around to deal with the fire.

I see him grab a bucket of what must be sand and he throws it over the flames, making them die down instantly as smoke poursup the chimney.

I start sniffling at not just the mess I’ve made, but the pain in my arms. I’m a little afraid to look at them, my hands didn’t hurt this badly when I fell down the mountain.

As soon as Silver’s convinced the fires out, he jogs back over to me, looking me up and down. “Are you okay?”

“I-I’m sorry, Silver. I just wanted to do something nice and make them breakfast. They’re always doing nice things for me… I just wanted to return the sentiment.”

I see his eyes soften as he places his hands on my knees. “Sweetheart, they know how much you care for them, you don’t need to do anything to show them that. Just being you is enough, I’m sure of it. Now, will you stop crying? It really pains me to see you like this.”

“I—I can’t,” I stutter out.

“Why not?”

“It hurts.”

His eyes go wide and he stands up straight. He looks down at my body before eyes narrow in on my arms. Gently, he grabs my wrists and slowly pulls my arms away from my chest.

I hiss at the movement, making him apologize. “Shit, sorry, Sweetheart, I just need to see.”

We both look down and see my forearms are blistered and bleeding all over. How the hell did they get this injured so quickly? I thought it was just a couple spatters of fat.

“Fuck, this is bad.”

”It really hurts, Silver,” I whine, tears falling down my cheeks. The worst part might be not being able to bury my face in my hands, as they too are covered in blisters and blood.

“We’ve got to use the magical cream again, it’s up in your room. Hold tight, I got you.”
