Remembering to close doors

This is quite a niche one, but it turns out that I have a habit of leaving everything wide open. I must subconsciously barrel through doors and arrogantly expect them to shut themselves behind me, which leaves me open to burglaries and also, I’ve discovered, birds(see below).

What I’m excellent at:

Paying bills on time

Easy. Get the bill. Pay it right away. No sweat.

Contesting bills if necessary

These companies casually think they can raise monthly payments without good reason and assume I won’t notice, do they?Think again, utility world.I have no issues ringing up and correcting them calmly but firmly until they lower those prices right back down again. I’ve got all the time in the world. (Although, not whenLove Islandis on. Then I need to be off the phone by 9:00P.M.)

Electrical faults

I have a knack for it. Maybe in another life I was a technician. Matthew was awful at this. He would stare for ages at the object and then whack it and hope for the best. It never worked.

Keeping the house neat and organized

I put things back after I use them, unlike some people. Not naming names, but Matthew was terrible at thisvery simple task. You take a folded blanket from the arm of the sofa, you refold it and pop it back there when you get up. You don’t leave it strewn across the seat with the TV controller and Doritos lurking somewhere inside the folds.

Gardening

Not to blow my own trumpet, but I’m smashing it.
