Hanna stood under theshower with her eyes closed as she let the water take away her tension.
She still needed to deal with emotions, but even if she didn’t understand everything, she wouldn’t let it affect her relationship with Blake.
He’d have to do something really awful, like have an affair, and she knew he’d never do that.He’d never jeopardize their relationship for another woman.
She also reminded herself that it was a long time in the past, and they hadn’t been together then.
Her body jerked when she heard him come into the bathroom.
“I’ve got a glass of wine for you, baby.I’ll be in the office.Call if you need me.”

“What?”

He opened the shower door so that he could see her.“Honey, I’ll do whatever you need.”
“Then get undressed and come into the shower with me.”
Within a minute, he came back and stepped into the large shower.He pulled her into his arms, tilted her head back, and took her lips.
She was breathless when he raised his head.
“I love you so much, baby, and I’m so thankful to have you in my life.”
Tears filled her eyes, and she smiled.“I’m thankful for you, too, and I’m falling more in love with you every day.”
She shivered when his hands slid over her body.He already knew how to touch her to bring her the most pleasure, and he used everything he’d found to show her how he felt, which made any residual pain she had wash away.
