“Will you do me the honor of marrying me? I wanted to ask you while we were surrounded by everyone who loves me, and who now also love you by extension.”

“I knew the instant I met you that you two were perfect for each other,” Dad adds. “You’re two puzzle pieces that fit together just right.”

Tears fill my omega’s beautiful eyes, and he swallows hard as his chest heaves for an entirely different reason.

“My mind is quiet around you,” he whispers. “I can’t even argue with anything you just said, because I can feel it’s true through the bond. You’re too perfect to be real, but yes, I’d love to marry you.”

“Good, because you’re stuck with me whether you like it or not.”

The ring is a perfect fit as I slide it onto his ring finger, and my lips brush his to seal the promise.

“I love you.” I hug Tav tightly as he sobs in my arms, and my sisters cut the tension of the high emotions by telling my omega in great detail all about my shortcomings.

“Oh! Has he left his dirty socks everywhere yet?” Laura asks. “It’s way too clean in here.”

“I love his dirty socks,” Tav mumbles, his face buried in my throat as he breathes me in. “He’s a slob, but I still love him.”

“Can you marry them immediately, Dad?” Hazel says urgently. “While Tav is delusional with happy emotions, we need to lock this in so he can be ours forever.”

Yep, I come by my unhinged behavior honestly.

“I think they have a point. I think cookies will make the perfect reception dessert,” Dad mumbles.

“Your family is insane. What the hell? Let’s get married.”

Romance lives in the gentle, sweet, and the crazy. Never let anyone put you in a box.

“Can we finish the dishes first?” Margie asks. “Ooh! Let’s do it outside. Floyd and Bella can be witnesses too.”

“They’ll love that,” I admit, leaning back to pull out a handkerchief to dry Tav’s tears. “It’s a perfect day for a wedding.”
