Harper bit back the comment she was about to spit out, as Maya’s tongue found her clit again. Circlingtighter. Any words spoken would be wrapped in loud moans, and she had no way of stifling them now.

Harper closed her eyes, tensing all over to keep any sounds from escaping. Her legs, her fists, even her lips were pinched together.

Don’t make noise. Whatever you do, don’t make noise.

“Are you getting close?” Maya asked, the words taunting. “The way you’re shaking suggests as much.”

Tension coiled in her stomach. Her legs trembled, and her breathing had turned panting.

“Answer me.” Maya pinched her thigh. “Otherwise, I’ll have fun in another way.”

“Yes,” Harper said through clenched teeth. Maya pinched her again, a little harder.

“Be polite.”

“Yes, Sir.Fuck.” She swallowed her moans into strained whimpers. “I’m close, okay. I’m really fucking close.”

“Was that so hard?” Maya chuckled. Then she closed her lips around Harper’s clit and sucked.

Harper’s mouth fell open. She pressed her hips up, her treacherous body chasing stimulation, even though it would mean her ruin.

This was so not okay. It was wrong in so many ways. And knowing that, feelingthat, only made the moans harder to control. If this went any further, she wouldn’t be able to hold them in.

“Please don’t,” Harper gasped. “Please stop. If you keep going, I… then I can’t…”

Maya hummed in approval. “I think you can. In fact, I think you have to.”

She pressed her tongue down harder. Circled tightly and fast. She kept going and going, pushing further and further, until Harper’s vision grew spotty.

She threw her head back, body tensing and then bucking as Maya’s tongue pulled her over. Pleasure zipped through her body, escaping as a ragged moan that she managed to lower in volume only due to desperation.

The orgasm hit hard and suddenly. Like a hammer, crashing through her, and culminating in a massive spasm that left her trembling with the effort of keeping silent, and even then, she didn’t quite succeed. She might have been able to stifle her moans, but she couldn’t do anything about the gasps that followed.

Maya withdrew, and Harper’s body went slack. The knot around her wrists was undone, but she couldn’t even raise her arms. She couldn’t move any part of her body at all.

Save for one. Her tongue worked just fine.

“I really hate you sometimes.” She’d intended for it to come out harsh, but it was hard to do that when the most you could do was sigh.

Maya crawled on top of her and gave her a kiss. One so soft that Harperalmostforgot to be annoyed.

“I don’t believe you,” Maya said with a grin. “Besides, we weren’treallyin danger. I heard Trish go downstairs and out the front door. I hope you have a key, though. Otherwise, we’re locked up in here.”

“You’re such an ass,” Harper laughed. It was hard not to when Maya smiled at her like that. Or looked at her. Or pushed a strand of hair away from her sweaty forehead.

Maya’s smile faded. “This isn’t exactly making it easier to leave.”

That brought back dreadful context. Something Harper had willfully pushed away. That in just a few hours Maya would be gone.

But she couldn’t think of that, or all the uncertainty it involved. She didn’t want to say anything that could mess up these last hours. Didn’t want to focus on the fears she didn’t dare voice.

How long would it be until they had a night like this again? How much distance would it take to kill the smile Maya worewhenever they saw each other? When would she realize that she could do so much better than the mess Harper offered?

She could only think of painful answers.

She pulled Maya close and kissed her again. Kissed her with a fervor that didn’t fit the present. That let her commit it to memory.

Because even though Harper didn’t have any real reason for it, she feared it might be the last time she would get the chance.
